this thread is for all Body Shop members... for love of pampering your body..

So far i've tried multiple body wash.. and is using seaweed series for my combination skin..

now trying out their makeup too.. feel that all in one foundation is great.. although i bought the wrong shade but is letting it go in stuff-for-ladies.. and will try shade 05...

what i like most is the CSR and the concept of the whole company. I am an environmental friendly person myself and really like when i shop there, they have the same earth-sense as i do rolleyes.gif

so tell me about your body shop tales thumbup.gif

i will be the 2nd one who say bout body shop then! biggrin.gif

I only use their tea tree line so far.. i bought their tea tree face exfoliator, tea tree oil, tea tree blemish fade night lotion and mask smile.gif
Not bad.. my skin doesn't get acne easily now.. just once in a while.. my blemish are getting a lil better now too..
I just use their product for bout 1 month + only.. hope it will help me out better in the future ! biggrin.gif

i can't really find any oth product that meant to diminish blemish.. so i would recommend this for those who suffering from blemish skin ^^

Just about every single toiletry I use is from The Body Shop.

Facial wash, toner, cotton that goes with the toner, facial serum, moisturizer[s], face mist, perfumes, face mask[s], shower gel, body scrub, lip butter, body lotion, hand cream, eye cream, blackhead remover, pore shrinking gel, hand sanitizer, shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, everything. You name it, chances are I either have it or have at least considered buying it. T_T

Fine I admit I am addicted. The sales assistants in the branch I usually go to kinda recognize my face already. T_T

P.S. I've experimented with their Aloe Vera and Vitamin E lines but I love their Seaweed line the most and the minty sensation you get after using it. The toner, especially. The Seaweed day cream works wonders in reducing that annoying shine I tend to get on my nose due to excessive oil, though after 3 to 4 hours it gets oily again, so facial blotters are the way to go beyond that point. Right now I'm using mostly Seaweed stuff, but I do use stuff from other lines as well, like Aloe Vera eye cream, Vitamin E serum, some moisturizers, etc. Planning to try more Vitamin C stuff in the near future too.

Got such thing? Lols.

I am addicted to some smells like Oceanus and White Musk. I'm very sad that they've discontinued Oceanus. Water Lily isn't similar at all!

I remember that there used to be that recycle program, but hardly heard about it actually happening, as in I don't see people doing that.

I used to use the whole Seaweed range back when my skin was oilier, but I've since switched to Dermalogica. I still use most of The Body Shop's tools and accessories, and whenever possible, their products of course such as body wash, etc. I also really miss the Honey Lip Balm they used to have a long long time ago- it was the best!

What attracts me to The Body Shop is it's environment-friendly and -consciousness. I feel like I'm doing a good deed for the Earth and underprivileged people every time I shop there.

I love The Body Shop ever since I was able to shop (that is when I get enough pocket money to buy their stuffs). ^^ All time favourite would be their White Musk series, had a White Musk perfume oil and it lasted for around 8 years!! And the smell hasn't changed much, which tells alot about the product's quality.

I used to admire their concept (being environmental and animal friendly) until their takeover by L'oreal as both companies have conflicting values. >.>;;

actually i dun find the recent sale special.. most of the items are 10% off but u know that if u are a member, every Rm350 u spend u get RM35 off.. thats already 10%.. during sales u cannot collect points.. so no difference..

unless you're aiming for some off seasons product (eg: christmas version-body butter), i prefer to buy during normal period.

I've been using the aloe vera line and recently switched for their Vit C Skin Booster which I used to replace the Aloe Vera Serum. I just love the minty sensation and i wake up to a very soft and smooth skin. totally love it! rclxm9.gif will switch to Vit C line in the near future.. and yes it cost a lit bit more compared to the aloe vera.

yeah.. anita roddick (the founder) sold body shop over to loreal on the condition that the logo, brand name, all its values remain the same. So you don't c the name loreal appearing in any body shop stuff... i did a case study on it... love body shop alot.. n i admire anita roddick for her passion in saving the environment n helping 3rd world countries~!

Ooo I love body shop
using their lip scrub and aloe intense treatment. << damn awesome. I mean.. I was recently have ulcers cuz I lack drinking water yet their products didn't allow my lips to crack one bit. *_* awseome stuff.

I just bought their concealer and I have to say it's awesome! blends really nice.

Shae body butter was a great buy too! it really works.

the only bad investment was their shampoo for me... it was suppose to help increase the amount of hair.. but I suffered hair lost! argh... I stopped using it and my hair is starting to recover... >.<

I'm just wondering if their tea tree range will suit my skin. My skin is breaking out again, lol.

I'm not a fan of Body Shop anymore ever since Loreal bought over them. I feel their new products are not as great as before. But I still uses their Brazil Nut Hair Mask, and their shower gloves. I have RM20 voucher from last purchase, thinking of buying the Shea shower cream. Anybody using it ?

my skin is a little dry lately 'cos I switch to an aussie brand soap, I get bored with the smell of shower gel/soap after a while, so I'm always changing shower gel. Please recommend me some good soap/shower gel if you come across any. Thanks.

Oh ya, I hate Body Shop's strawberry shower gel, the smell is sweet, but it takes me a long time to wash it all off, it's kinda too soapy for me.

just back from Body shop sales.. should check out the 50% or 30% ones.. those 10% ones is actually no difference to members because you are not allowed to collect any points during sales time.. but during sales you are given some discounts close to 10%? but now they change their points system to something like 250 points and you are entitle to some cash rebates.. not sure about it though..

I LOVE the body shop!!!

I've used more than 20 bottles of their body butter, 5 of their lip butter, perfume, face product, body wash and blabla~ a lot more..

I have very sensitive skin, using the wrong product will give me rashes within hours, which is very annoying and sad. I was so happy that the body shop's body butter does not give me any problem consider it contains fragrance. <3 <3 <3 I LOVE THE STRAWBERRY BODY BUTTER biggrin.gif

I do hope that they have campaigns like like 'return to body shop' or something like that, cause I feel sad for throwing away the containers but space consuming for keeping it in my room :/ I have a whole box of empty containers.. And I have no idea what to do with it ><

I went to Body Shop for shopping recetly.. They got BB cream. The SA told me that it just launched recently..Quite nice. It feels powdery on my face which is impressive coz i have a combination skin. Love it so much!

this thread is for all Body Shop members... for love of pampering your body..
