another brand that is usually used to compare wih Palgantong is Chacott. It's good and worth the price. RM 80 for 170g jar! That will last you for like 2 years+?? I'm using Givenchy's and I'm very satisfied with the oil control and makes my skin look&feel softer, despite the wrong color I have chosen. ><

Chacott is very very famous in Japan, Taiwan, HK, Spore, and Malaysia(among forumers.. XD). It's been featured in magazines like Popteen, Ray, etc if you do read them. You can get it from niyigallery.com Reliable seller.

RM 80 is not very expensive...with the amount of product you get.
In most drugstore or high end brands, they usually sell..30g? worth of loose powder, and chacott has 170g. I've been using 1 tub for 1 year...and it looked like it has barely been touched....lol. I think I probably can use it for 3 years or more.
Chacott is good for oil control. Thus highly reccomended if you have oily skin. Gives a matte finish. My advise, if you are getting it, its best to take out some and use those, slowly top up when you have finish your smaller container, so that your main tub wouldn't get contaminated. Plus to use a smaller container, easier for travels and to bring around and to store!~ lol.

Hi, my suggestion is go for an average size or small packaging. Our skin condition and skin colour do not remain the same through out the years. Choose loose powder that's really soft and fine. It's good to test it out first before purchasing to ensure your skin is not sensitive to it. I would recommend a luminizer as a base before applying the loose powder.

I'm using Bobbi Brown's (it comes with a concealer) and it's pretty good, fine, soft and very natural looking. I don't know the price though. If you want a lower end brand, maybe you could try Kate? My roomie's using it and I think it looks all right. Also the texture of the powder is pretty fine too.

I tried shiseido. It's good but sometimes tend to be hard to match your exact colour. The new maquillage one should be better and a little bit more luminent. I'm currently using Paul & Joe's Loose Powder N in #2. It's very got good texture and doesn't go cakey later in the day. But can look powdery for the first 15-30 minutes after application before it sinks in so don't worry. Just need to melt into your skin. The bonus is that is comes in such a lovely case. You can only find similar ones like from Anna Sui. That's because they are made from the same parent company, Albion.
