Gonna dye my hair soon. im sure some of you guys want too. so anyone here can suggest where is a good place to dye hair? share with us which salon and which stylist. if im not wrong, dying hair is not really depending on the skills, but rather on the product used. so need to find a place using good hair dye products biggrin.gif

dye is like colour all the hair. highlight is more like colouring strands of hair. meaning some part dont colour. hmm. depending on your face and skin colour. if go salon the stylist will know which is best for you. now i wanna find a good salon

swt~ the colours ah~
i didnt take pictures dat time~
haha~!!
i try to let u see soon~
btw....the green colour wont show that much in pictures.... they juz giv u the effect under light......
the greyish brown is better....the first week u dye...it wont fell greyish.... but the second week...it with turn grey.....
i miss the colour~ feeling to dye it back~ haha~!!

*
bleach.....the bring out the black colour of ur hair.... the hair colour will turn lighter......and if u do it 3 times...it will turn to white colour~

i was wanting to do that...but too over...haha...so i did twice~
after bleaching...the hair will look very light....and easier to style too~

but u nid to do treatments some times...so the hair quality will be retained~
after bleaching...the colour of blonde will remain.....til ur new hair grow out~
so.......if u wanna get extreme results of the hair dye.... bleach b4 dye-ing~

if ur hair can take in the colour well ......then u no nid to bleach~

understand?? hehe~

feeling like goin for grey platinum hair~
haha~ sweat.gif

There may be a chance for u to hav allergic reaction to the dye.But during dyeing,u may feel a little uncomfortable on ur head but dats normal as long it doesnt feel very very terrible.
If ur hair is in good condition then u wont get hair damage dat easy but often dyeing will cause dat.
Remember to take good care of ur hair and ur scalp too smile.gif

I dyed my hair once too,but after dat i prefer my hair to be natural color biggrin.gif

Bleaching for those who intend to do highlight colour.. Dye no need bleaching as the level of concentration is low..

Not bad the colour.Usually ppl don dye bright colour coz when u get a new hair cut,ur new hair which is black will mix with the dyed hair..so in the end the combination will look a bit weird.Colours like brown and urs is ok ^^

well, if you want to look nice not too common and suitable to go for work...

try burgandry brown... it looks very natural and when you are under the sun, look a bit reddish or purplish(the maroon like) .. a very very nice colour...

anyway, do check out here for the hair saloons if you aint sure where and which to go...

Hi guys smile.gif I just dyed my hair today (natural brown) and before the dye was done, the stylist told me its better for me to rub some stuff called "Ice Spa" or somethin. *Didn't really heard it clearly* He says its for reducin the damage done to my scalp by protecting the skin on my hair. But..it cost me an additional charge of RM40! For some reason i felt ripped-off.

It was my 1st time dyeing though, so i didn't really know whether its important or not. So..was it really needed?

Never heard of that. But nowadays hair dye usually dont do damage to your hair or scalp or skin like the old days. Many hair dye products are even good to your hair and provide nutrition.

Old days use cheap stuff. There is expensive one but normally people don't know or don't wanna spend so much on a healthier way to dye color.

Red is the hardest to take care. Normally will fade within a week time.

my recommendation will be darker colour... reddish brown will be fine. or maybe dark purplish red. Dont ever go for light colour like golden brown, light brown for tanned.

swt~  the colours ah~
i didnt take pictures dat time~
haha~!!
i try to let u see soon~
btw....the green colour wont show that much in pictures.... they juz giv u the effect under light......
the greyish brown is better....the first week u dye...it wont fell greyish.... but the second week...it with turn grey.....
i miss the colour~ feeling to dye it back~ haha~!!
bleach.....the bring out the black colour of ur hair.... the hair colour will turn lighter......and if u do it 3 times...it will turn to white colour~

i was wanting to do that...but too over...haha...so i did twice~
after bleaching...the hair will look very light....and easier to style too~

but u nid to do treatments some times...so the hair quality will be retained~
after bleaching...the colour of blonde will remain.....til ur new hair grow out~
so.......if  u wanna get extreme results of the hair dye.... bleach b4 dye-ing~

if ur hair can take in the colour well ......then u no nid to bleach~

understand?? hehe~

feeling like goin for grey platinum hair~
haha~ sweat.gif

Maybe I know your skin colour ? I mean your race.

All depend on your hairstyle, hairtype. Btw, for the first time I recommend your to try dark hair colour such as dark red or dark brown.

After your dyed your hair, make sure I buy a good quality hair shampoo and conditioner to prevent dryness.

Im planning to dye my hair dark grey/ dark blue one day. Right now, my hair is dyed caramel brown. Would I still need to bleach it before i dye my hair into blue or grey? I think my hair is pretty light now. Would the color go on?

*In before "dont do it, you will look like lala". I actually like looking like lala. LOL.

I was already thinking about the "lala" and you said you like the way it looks so I'll just keep my comments with me. About your inquire, I believe that there is no need to bleach your hair. Some hair dye kits can give you your desired hair color. (But there are picture guides that will show you the resulting colors based on the original color of your hair.)

bleached once and regretted it because when i tried to dye it with black it fades back to blonde. YAY.
so it took me almost a year to chop off those blonde streaks. XD
