If you're using your mbp in the office environment or home, I'll suggest you spend the money on other things. Observing this thread, it seems that many mb or mbp owners spent unnecessarily on things that are not needed. Probably since everyone thought of protecting their expensive toys but at the end of the day find it cumbersome and throw all those away.. Btw, am talking from my own experience here smile.gif

@realpesky,
No need to get the keyboard protector; U won't use it much - biggrin.gif  Spend d $ on a proper sleeve instead

Unless you smoke alot in front of your lappie biggrin.gif Or eat as well. I remove it only when I need to speed type otherwise it's there (for browsing chatting other casual stuff)

From your replies i gather that the keyboard protector are more to protecting from food dropping on it and also spills? Am i right? haha.. all the while i thought it was to protect from dust and stuff.. Since i'm buying it online i'm planning to get it with the incase neoprint sleeve for the 17" one. Is it good or there are better options?

the laptop is nicer without anything. haha.. just use a sleeve when you're bringing it somewhere and take care of it so that there will be no scratches. just my opinion though.
