I'm using Speck See Thru Satin (Black) for my MBP since day 1. FYi, it doesn't leave mark on those clip that you mention. BUt, try to be careful when you want to taking it off..

Being using Moshi Palmguard + Moshi keyboard protector and Specks black satin case since day one on my 15' MacBook Pro. Happy with the palmguard but not to happy with the keyboard protector since it get dirtier and hard to clean. Once in a while, take it off and do some dust cleaning.

I know the feeling. But after a while (2 years now) i dont even care about the feeling and the MacBook Pro keyboard itself it still brand new compared to my friend MBP which kinda shiny on it surface. |
