Hi there, I am new here, just bought a new macbook 13inch unibody.

Would like to ask which macbook case is good, as Machines staff said the case for macbook poly not yet out...

The next one I would get is da bag, please recommend some of them so that I wont be carrying my mac with its carry box lolz...

Budget: RM150 or below if possible T_T...

Thanks for the info, what do you think about this:

For cheapest alternatives:

In order to have a scratch-free MacBook without casing, which is caused by either dust, or by some low-quality bags, here is the method:

Guys you all still have the MacBook hand-carry box right? That one is a natural scratch-free protection for your Mac!

All you have to do is find a bag big enough to contain the whole box! Even for cheaper big backpack!

Don worry the outlook of the box when you take it out from box, when put on table, your Macbook will be pure white due to case-less!!!

so huge tongue.gif n not that convenient
i agree! haha but yeah their design is very nice. i never liked crumpler design..too childish?

Of course, you need to take out all the included things within it and contain only the MacBook, the power adapter have to put in smaller pouch in the backpack for convenience though... lolz... not a bad idea of saving money for dust-protection huh?

Why everyone is getting casing? How about bags?

Does it means that if I got the casing, bag is not needed and I can put my macbook with casing in my old laptop bag?

Now in the middle of confusion about which to get, laptop carry bags or Casing.

At first wanna book invisible shield but i scare it's hard to apply on it.
So i think Casing is safer and it can protect it from direct knock ma, i duwan my mac dent. lol

How long you clean your casing every time? Really need a guide to properly keep my macbook dust free + scratch free...

dont think too much about physics ;p even if it traps heat and what not, it's not significant. my CPU temp is pretty much the same with or without casing and shield

for me its too disheartening to see a scratch on my 7k machine  sweat.gif

Wonder how you get your MBP scratched except than dust or dropped on the floor, you use it for bashing ppl up huh?lolz...

Argh...

notebook sleeves will scratch macbook with zipper;
Casing need weekly cleaning;
Invisible shield hard to apply;

Final solution: a sleeves without zipper such as http://colcasac.com/original.html

Got any ppl selling these?

oh damnit damnit. ok as mentioned b4 im using both zagg invisible shield and the speck see thru.

b4 this i noticed got some sticky stuff between those two that made it hard to take off the speck. i thought it was maybe i spilled something on it.

the sticky stuff happened again n i realised its actually melted plastic tongue.gif. i think the heat melted the speck casing a bit...nothing serious la since no obvious damage and i manage to take it apart with little force. but still..! +_+

Bless you, for not having to scratch your MBP after you remove it, guess the best solution would be a sleeves without zipper huh?
