i am not really into IS cause i had bad experience on iphone. also the coating is bit thick. and might turn yellow when aging.
best to use sleeve but also got problem cause if tiny little thingy got into the sleeve and when i slide it in, might get scratch. best to use case but it will add abit thickness to the sexy unibody.
u just cant have both so see what u want it and go for it...
just pay extra precaution when using yr expensive mac

All is about individual preferences... Like d lai said... I faced the same problem of it turning yellow and lots of dust sticking onto the edges and residual sticking on it after I remove the IS... But I think the most protected way is to get a casing plus a sleeve and put it into a backpack... But of course apple accessories are expensive.. So depends also on your budget... =)

Im choose the speck casing due to the fear of getting it scrached if I have a sleeve and take it out to use... =) But I think I would want to get a sleeve so that I wouldnt have to take my backpack everytime I wanna go some place which I just need my Macbook...

So on my wishlist would be a Sleeve and a Razer Orochi mouse!! Money money money..

If you can order it yourself then it should be much cheaper as no commissions goes to the seller if you buy from them but you have to do all the work of shipping/buying etc... Maybe you could consider the price and see if there is a huge difference.. If its a little then get from someone who has already experience buying would be better =)

tarvalslain ... looks like you are gonna get yourself a foofbag. Which one do you have in mind?

I am still undecided. Torn between Tucano second skin and the Nishigikoi foof bag. sweat.gif

@cyberixus haha Im not getting one.. Im asking on behalf of my cousin which she is quite interested but not sure specifically which design yet...

@aneip Im not sure if there is one for sale in apple store or any other accessories shop but definitely there are rubber casings.. Just google them.. Ive found a few but I think Speck see thru satin is ok as it got a rubber feel to it =)... But if you prefer it fully rubber and could take it and wash, I think there are limited choices.. Not sure though... Could walk around in lowyat or apple stores to check them out...

im not sure if that's a good idea

rubber is a heat insulator. it'll just trap the heat, making ur macbook even hotter compared to being naked
