You may consider Popular for something cheap and good..I bought the Cliptec sleeve Popular few days back for RM35 only. It has good protection and it fit well with exact length but with extra width due to this is for 14" LCD laptop.

I am looking for cheap LCD protective film(cover the backside of LCD-apple logo) as well as the palm guard..any good and cheap recommendation from any MBA sifu here?? drool.gif

The Casing with apple logo glowing

[attachmentid=3533802]

The casing when the Mac sleeps

nice casing. the material looks like a matte finish. is it too rubbery?
one of my concern is that dust will stick on the casing and its hard to remove them sometimes.
if the material is easy to clean using a plain cloth then thats good smile.gif

Erm, it really feels abit rubbery. I'm nt sure the dust can be wiped away easily or not, but im sure that the static caused thru wiping the case will eventually attract more dusts, xD

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of getting one of this casing soon to prevent scratches to my macbook.
Will head over to a Switch outlet in Penang soon to check out the material.

Any covers to recommend? I want it as slim as possible. Transparent would be nice.

Instead of casing, has anyone of you considered skins, e.g. those from Lucky Labs?

They're gorgeous, and they protect your Mac from getting scratched. For carrying around, just get a sleeve for it.

Thanks man!
I plan on getting the smart shell one, thats the lightest one right?
Is this http://www.speckproducts.com/macbook-cases...na-display.html the same as this https://www.storekini.com/gadgets/laptop-ac...thru-clear.html
If it is, I plan on buying it. I feel the current speck one is kinda heavy. Is the smart shell really have significance difference with the normal see thru?

How does the Speck one differ from Moshi casing? I heard Moshi is more minimalist and thinner.

I heard of lucky labs, they made good quality skins but too troublesome and risky to stick a laptop unless someone do for me laugh.gif

moshi should be more practical, speck is more for design (fancy colours)

You'd be surprise how easy it is to apply it. There's a video tutorial on it. The skin is brilliant as I've not had a single scratch on mine, and I removed it without any residue at all.

If you're thinking of selling you Mac in the future, it's worth considering a skin.
