Anyone own 15" Retina Macbook Pro using Speck case? I'm finding Speck Clear Smart Shell. It is thinner than normal Speck case. Wonder where can I buy it.

wrongly bought a moshi palmguard for macbook pro 15 inch. tot the same with rmbp. any takers?

Mine MBP 15inch only use SPECK casing and no other protection such as keyboard and etc LOL !

use speck case before...made my battery bulge due to heat...

u can get those speck case at those Apple Reseller such as Machines in KLCC or LOT 10 and there are a lot of shop selling it in KL where got sell Apple Products

last time got a forummer selling here but sold out already

Yeah people should be warned about Speck! The ventilation tube and bubble it has below the cover are just not sufficient to transfer heat quickly especially when your macbook is doing video recording / editing / playing games or even watching youtube.

People already reported bulging battery and heat problem with SPECK CASE and yet you still wanna find it?

For me though i avoid all the hard shell case / exact fit for all my gadgets, they either make my gadget look like a toy, make them thicker and the best is they leave abrasion marks, permanent spots, or even dent when you remove them after while.

initially been thought of getting a speck case... but after some consideration, i'm holding myself back
same worrying about the heat transfer...

dude i strongly advice you not to buy. i have a matte casing & keyboard protecter for my MBP Retina for 1 week. i just simply using safari, iTunes and bit torent and the laptop is so hot like it's playing game. even i do rendering is not that hot!!!

so now my MBP Retina is naked..naked is good...* if you know what i mean * =P

yup... running final cut + photoshop at the same time now... rmbp base model, not too much of heat but lag a little once in awhile during rendering.
till now very satisfy with the performance... loving my macbook

awesome man. i love mac now. don't even miss window despite that been using window for 10 years.
