Hi, everyone.
Just wan to know how much do u spend on urself for a month.
I wan to get some idea on how to use my money wisely and control my budget.
(I believe this knowledge everyone should learn, the earlier the better!)

Pls let me know ur age, monthly income and items u would brought every month.
Those who like to drop a reply don't hv to give every information in details, enough to understand that's all.
(I understand this is privacy)

eg:
Age : 17++
Income : RM800 ++
Items : Clothes (RM150)

It would be a great pleasure for me if u all would like to give me additional information.
* This existence of this topic is to discuss, not to survey.

And any tips for me not to regret after buying a dress?
I always find that i dun like after i brought it even though i din feel in such a way when i was in the fitting room.

Hmmm.. being a girl myself, i actually find it quite hard to control my spendings.. wink.gif i meant, with all the clothes, and bags and shoes, and accessories out there, how on earth is a girl going to resist..

bt thanks to my dad, i've learn to spend as well as save wisely..

wat u gotta do is: sit down, and write down all your expenses as well as savings for the month. then decide on how much percentage of your salary you going to spend on.

eg. income : RM2000

petrol, toll, parking 20%

food 20%

Savings 20%

aaa 10%

bbb 10%

clothes, shoes,...10%

misc 10%

then, u'll know hw much you can/ should spend a month on yourself.. tongue.gif

hm... i don't buy cosmetics cos i don't know how to make up
but i do spend for other "needs":
skin care products = RM100 per month
clothes = seldom, buy twice a month or 3 months, every purchase is RM100 - RM200

i usually set 1/3 of my salary for savings, and the rest, monthly expenses include food, transportation, bills, allowance for parents, shopping, etc.

Thx for u girls information.
Act i am now 17++ and waiting to start my form 6
I found that i spend almost RM1000 for 2 months for my cosmetics, skin product, clothes, public transportation fee, mobile top up, food n mis

I am in great guilty now.
I did record down what i had spent and i found that i had brought things that are unimportant.

I feel that i spend too much for that i am still a student
I hv been working for a month only
And the thing that make me feel worst is i still hv to take money from my dad to buy food at outside when i was working
