I think Swinburne and Curtin will be about the same, as with Nottingham and Monash.
I think the tuition fee is about the same for they two as well, as for lecturers' strength, commitment etc.
The most important issue is probably the location, and perhaps whether which one has better links with industry (Oil and Gas) that can help you out to get into. Of course, you may not like O&G. smile.gif

For accreditation wise, I think it's NOT really important for mechanical graduates in MALAYSIA. There are A LOT of mechanical engineers out there that is not accredited and also a lot of employers that do not care about your accreditation status.

If you are capable enough, I don't think you will be turned down by companies for the reason of your degree not being accredited.

That being said, I do think Swinburne will not have any problem in gaining accreditation. For me, it's just that the accreditation has yet to come.

Btw, fyi this is the actual email from Swinburne marketing officer about their accreditation status.

Swinburne has gone through the MQA accreditation process sometime end of last year and from the positive feedback given by MQA, we are confident we’ll receive the accreditation status soon. Currently we are under interim accreditation from MQA.

Thank you.

Who cares about MQA accreditation?
If you want to be an anccredited engineer, i.e. using the Ir. title, what you should seek is BEM, not MQA.
