QUOTE(kuman @ Sep 7 2009, 05:20 PM) thanks for the fast reply.. If you're planning to buy the number via the counter, just fill the MV10A form. The MV10 form is only for tendering purposes. Also don't forget to provide the photocopy of your IC.in that case... i can go to the counter and ask to buy the WSN directly right? since i cannot tender WSN anymore... i believe if want to buy directly then they have this form M.V.10.A titled... "Borang Tempahan No. Pendaftaran Kenderaan Secara Pilihan", man this is confusing.. thanks again.. kuman BTW, for numbers out of range of the running numbers, you will be charged RM310 (RM10 for the process fee + RM300 for the number itself). Numbers within the same range will costs you RM210. Such example would be like this, Running numbers is 4123, so if you're planning to buy 4556 which is within the 4000-4999 range, you'll be charged RM210. But if you're planning to buy 5012, you'll be charged RM310 for it. Hope that helps. |

TQ! thanks in advance |

IINM, at JPJ Wilayah they will open the tender for two series simultaneously. I'm not sure whether JPJ Wilayah open WSM and WSM at the same time before this. I can only give example at Melaka since Wilayah is a bit different from other states because of high volumes of vehicle registration there.
Let's say you won a number in the tender, you can only register a vehicle using that number when the current running series reaches 9000++. For aarex q, the max amount of months for a number can be extended is 4 months. You just need to make an application letter to extend your number. Edit: Not two series simultaneously, but within 2 weeks gap. Sorry for the confusion. This post has been edited by rash_462: Sep 8 2009, 04:27 PM |

ok UPDATES
i went to JPJ and check already.. it seems that some of the reply above is correct.. take these for consideration: Current Number: WSM Next Number: WSN Next Next Number: WSP most likely the next no. you can TENDER is from WSP already and they have a tender period of 2 weeks for it which usually would end even before the WSM reach the middle running number (5k something). so to be safe, you can tender the next next number already since the next no most likeley cannot be TENDER already since the tender period already close.. so in my case i'm not taking any chances so i tender the number WSP.. and i also dont want to take the SA word saying that he "confirm" can take the number i want in the next running number (WSN).. what if he cannot? then i need to get some shitty random no.. no.. no.. thats it for now and see if this one progresses nicely... although i have to wait for another month for the WSP number to be release.. |

as far as I know, if you tender for a number, you can wait up to 3 months to register the tendered no to your car. And if you purchase the no off the counter, you are given 1 month to register the no but its extendable if you have a valid reason like did not get the car in time.
Just bought a no from Selangor 2 months back and they just asked me have I booked a car but they did not ask for any documentation to proof that i have booked one since I am the owner and individual. |

For Wilayah plate, was told by the Sales Advisor, currently average about 1000 numbers are being registered daily. So do your own maths to determine when will it reach WTF

if u are doin tender for nice number by yourself without runner's help, better place about RM 400+. sure win. for a generally nice number.
i wanted a "WSU 8288" for my waja, it was running at WSS then. i tendered at RM 288 (coz i saw on the board previously WSS 8288 the winner only RM 250!) mana tau when WSU results were out, i lost to one chinese lady. she put RM 310! those runners already pakat with JPJ dudes. "eh, ada orang taroh RM 288. u tambah RM 30 la". now i ended up asking my bloody salesman to get a number for me. For just WST 8239, he charged me RM 410. wish JPJ officers & the bloody salesman to remain poor like this forever until they breathe their last with my every sen. |

Just go to JPJ n get a number urself.. dont need to pay ur SA i went myself..can get running number st RM210 or future running numbers of same WS* at RM310 n i got it done in less than 10 minutes.. easy job u can go counter ask watever choice of numbres u want if its available then u can take it..i got mine WSW **88 so i am happy with it.. |
