QUOTE(kmarc @ Apr 14 2009, 03:39 PM) Buy in will impose on client, if they previous T-2 they have sold the stock, but can't deliver the share (no share in their CDS), so they have to buy in at 10 tick above the closing price which called buy in, share will be transferred immediately as compared T+2 as current system applied. |

I see...... thx for the explanation. I thought there is a fail-safe system when you can't sell more that the shares you have......I mean, everytime I want to sell my shares, it will say that I have xxx amount of shares left, or zero amount left..... Can this happen to anybody? Singapore deeper in recession : http://www.cnbc.com/id/30198852 When is the next Malaysia's GDP? Have to cabut the stock market before then! Can this happen to anybody? It is cleint's responsible not to oversold Nominee account, may be they can do it, but for ordinary account definitely no. Btw, buy in is norm and everyday also got, especially for those high volume counters previously. This post has been edited by cherroy: Apr 14 2009, 03:49 PM |

QUOTE(sampool @ Apr 14 2009, 03:52 PM) Buy in to cover. As this is 10 tick higher than ordinary market price, surely lot of people want to sell to you, as they can buy back from open market at 10 tick lower. If really nobody to sell to you and you are struggling to deliver the share, SC can charge you on short-selling. |
