TS didn't condemn & it's related to health since we're in a Health & Fitness Forum.
So mind your words before replying.
Nice spamming here, btw that guy wasn't referring to TS. Do read the whole thread. Some are blaming the suicide victims. That's unjustified and mean.So mind your words before replying.
Heres some news related to this topic; from the Star:
Chinese ‘more suicidal’
A TOTAL of 43% of suicide victims are Chinese, Nanyang Siang Pau reported yesterday.
Quoting statistics from the Health Department, Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen said that while the Chinese only made up 26% of the population in the country, nearly half of the suicide cases involved members from the community.
“Cases of men committing suicide are two-fold higher than women (for all races),” she said during a dinner with MCA delegates in Sungai Petani.
Dr Ng said a counselling unit would be set up under her ministry to help men. She was of the view that men, especially Chinese, did not confide in their friends when they faced problems.
“Women faced with problems will tell their friends or resort to crying and this helps to reduce stress.
“Apart from focusing on issues related to women and children, the ministry is also concerned with problems faced by men that may lead to a family tragedy at times,” she said.
Dr Ng also said men resorted to violence to resolve their problems while women tended to use their minds.
