QUOTE(Suk @ Apr 26 2009, 01:58 PM) I think what u mean is NOC department. spend 1 hour to test with different IP, such as 60.51, 60.53, 60.54, 124 .. and etc .... Each ip group belongs to different routing, PingPlotter can see the hows the routing they do for my IP.http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:P-fGJC...ingular_noc.jpg Well, Ping do not help u / show anything regarding ur streamyx connection.. unless, u show them any ping > 1000ms or else.... ur email will be ignore. ( basically all email send to NOC will be ignore, but at least we create awareness to them ) I dont see why u want to spent 1 hour to ping and send to them... Raed here : http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=703017&hl=noc Post #6 They are monitoring the network 24hours already. So u can save your time. Well, i know it will be ignored, just try to give them some alert that telling and asking them what will they going to do the next ? If NOC really 24 do their job, it shouldn't have browsing/downloading/latency issues, unless their trunk to International really congested or faulty. |

My ping method, each location IP 300 times using ping command.
Additional PingPlotter Summary attached. IP: 60.51.x.x Added on April 26, 2009, 2:31 pm QUOTE(andrew9292 @ Apr 26 2009, 02:22 PM) Google up at&t NOC...even more awsome but i rather believe this is similar like Customer Service. A big hall but small ppl doing job. Suk's picture kinda small...i blew it up... ![]() looks so state-of-art, but the speed we getting is so state-of-idontknowwhat2puthere so this is where they monitor and do the routing i guess...look at the big map to the right...so actually it can be adjusted on-the-fly, no wonder our connections so PMS-ey...one day can be so slow, next day fast back.. QUOTE(andrew9292 @ Apr 26 2009, 06:14 PM) They said 90%, but i prooved them wrong, I did the test and screen shot to them in my reply, it was only 60% of my connection speed (1.5Mb) and it was a Malaysian server. Padan Muka. local speedtest is useless.. subsribed 1M for local browsing and local http dl? TM can't promise the thoughput from outside content. |

At this moment, i think TM will not going to solve the existing problem, they will just leave it like this. They priorities cooperate users, home user no way.
Don't ever call them for complaining slow connection or whatever, they really can't do anything. What they can help is to check your ADSL light blinking or no dial tone then they will send technician to check your port, that's it. Unless u got their network infra hp number, call them and ask why of this can be happened, at least give some reasons. Trunk congested? thats why they dare not to announce it ? |

For the packages which below RM100, the connection service will be ignored.
