I'm using 1mb package. I just tested connection to London and Paris server on www.speedtest.net. Still super slow.

TMnut may lucky because I'm still facing examinations in my college. After my examinations finish, they will start to have bad luck. Because after my exams, I will start complaining to SKMM and other government agencies, and will keep on complaining until the result of speedtest to UK, US and other countries reach at least 8xx kbps or higher.

Edit:
If anyone support me, please do the same. Don't be afraid.

Plus, other problems that if I state here, you people will not believe it.... The problem since 2008 till now can't solve! Stupid shit Streamyx.. Streamyx can die like motherf***er....

(Sorry for the bad words, but the bad words only can describe the SCREAMYX)

As what I said before, they are lucky because I'm facing exams. After my exam, I will keep on sending my complain to government agencies until my speedtest to servers in UK and US get at least 8xx kbps.

I will be very serious. This time I will not release them nor accepting any excuses given by them.

If you want to know why you got local high pings, try ping your own ISP website for example tmnet.net.my and see the result, if high ping for everage means that you have problem with your locations, line or it could be somewhere else, your modem or your line or both...
*
You have to accept the fact that this is ISP's problem, TMslowbabinet's (TMnet) problem and not ours.

Few weeks ago, my connection speed return to normal. My megaupload download speed with premium account can reach at least 1xx kb/s. But today, it never reach 2x kb/s.

Don't believe TM so much. Everything they tell you is just excuse. We should not except whatever reason they give. We pay them money, and they must ensure that we get full download speed at every seconds. 1 mbps should be fast enough for an overseas and local website to finish loading at least lest than 10 seconds, even when the web server is located in US or other planet.

And TMslowbabinet blame the P2P users for using high bandwidth. If P2P and bittorrent heavy users are causing normal users to get slow internet speed, that means TMslowbabinet's services are very poor. As an ISP, they have the responsibility to ensure both heavy p2p users and normal users can get high internet speed at the same time.

I have to advice you that the 218 IP is nothing better than the others and you should stick with your normal ranges for the time being. Although I'm not a gamer, I know that gamers need consistence, low ping times with no packet loss. This IP has no good charateristics at all. Also, this IP has been going downhill since it was given to 4Mbps users, u can check at 4Mbps users thread here : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/458185/+1400

I did not ask for the IP, although i was wishing for it. I was given a call from Mr.Shamshul?(sorry, i didn't not get exact spelling) of TM today saying that they have done something to my account and require me to disconnect and reconnect again (in regard to my complaint) and that they will be monitoring performance on their side and try to make improvements to their service. I did so and found out the new IP range I'm locked into. It's even worse than 124.82 in my area (Kota Damansara) because it has very high packet loss even to LOCAL routes which 124 range did not have.

------------------------
I have complained to these departments and a few ministers:

List of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (and email addresses) for the reference of users who would like to complain to higher authorities.

MCMC - Suruhanjaya Komunikasi & Multimedia Malaysia (complain button is on the right)
http://aduan.skmm.gov.my/
OR
Alternatively: aduanskmm@cmc.gov.my
----------------------

But even their "Premium ip" is fouled up! I will test this IP for a few days, if there is no improvement i will send emails and call those departments again to report on the slow LOCAL connection and also on behalf of all the users in the "Premium IP".

By the way "pillowman" or others here how is the packet loss on the normal ranges now?

So, you made complaints to some departments. Would you mind to post their reply here, if any?

Only TM replied me by e-mail & MCMC replied me by email once only, the rest of the communications are by phone, sorry.

Even now TM has stop emailing but calls me instead. There was a thread created by me on TM's replies tho if u search deeper in this forum...

Dont worry u can raise the issue to this new government, they are always willing to help. Even MCMC, so far dealings with them are very smooth and to the point. Ask them help u and HELP TM solve their problems, yes HELP TM. But still, for now it looks like no matter where u are or what IP you are on, its the same.

*218 ip has improved slightly (packet loss from 60% this afternoon is now fluctuating around 0-45%), will contiunue monitoring.
*
Would you mind to tell us what they said on the phone?

I'm the user of Megaupload premium account. Even with premium account, the download speed never higher than 1x kb/s.
