i visit most site. page didn't refresh. But connect using VPN. don't have problem.

Don't know how to say, while using screamyx default DNS would be slow slow... after using VPN, then later it's okay, but not all okay, I believe somewhat screamyx having big problem with their routing, seems they love re-route... then re-route sana sini then the internet congestion would be massive, give impact to majority user, how come...

How much for VPN? Is there any free one?

I'm just a student with no income. So, free things will be appreciated.

Are their routing infrastructure from the 90s?

It's a real shame that we need a VPN to make Streamyx service to work.

As for slow local speed, so much for their Terms and Conditions that 'guarantees speed for local websites'.

Semalam i compaint Tmnut and today they call me up and say they change port for me. Cap it to 2mb! Woohoo. I am on 512mb nia. He ask me what package i suscribe and i tipu them 1mb.. So they cap me 2MB. hehe

adrian...now your download can go up to how much? just wondering if your account is still at 512kb.

Actually if u have contacts and resources, u can start a lawsuit/sue them already. They clearly claim in their t&c that they are not responsible for international link, which means they are responsible for local links.

Lowyat has so much prove of their bad connections. Might get hack or DDOS by TM one day.

TM gave me 218.111 ip range today and they will be monitoring the connection on their side and be getting overview the performance, they will call me back tomorrow for further actions.

It's the range that all 4Mbps users are getting. I feel sorry for all 4Mb users, this IP range is much slower than 124.82 and 118.101 in my area. Even pings to local servers are suffering heavy packet loss than other ranges. How can TM do this? U guys pay so much for 4Mbps and get worst connection than 118.101 and 124.82.

They better not mess up the connection in my area as a lot of judges/high ranking officers and many important people are living in my area, if they mess it up here too, goodbye to them.

andrew are you 4mbps user? if no, where is your location and can you briefly describe how do you apply/ask for 218 ip range. this range is reported to have good connections to US so some gamers/forumers may want it badly. thanks for sharing.

How long has this been going on? By tonite, it will be one full day?

Let's do some maximum downloading with download managers and hog their bandwidth since we can't even use it to play games online or browse websites. I'm really tired of this bull and the problem keeps coming back. It gets worse every year too.

I have to advice you that the 218 IP is nothing better than the others and you should stick with your normal ranges for the time being. Although I'm not a gamer, I know that gamers need consistence, low ping times with no packet loss. This IP has no good charateristics at all. I did not ask for the IP, although i was wishing for it. I was given a call from Mr.Shamshul?(sorry, i didn't not get exact spelling) of TM today saying that they have done something to my account and require me to disconnect and reconnect again (in regard to my complaint) and that they will be monitoring performance on their side and try to make improvements to their service. I did so and found out the new IP range I'm locked into. It's even worse than 124.82 in my area (Kota Damansara) because it has very high packet loss even to LOCAL routes which 124 range did not have.

But even their "Premium ip" is fouled up! I will test this IP for a few days, if there is no improvement i will send emails and call those departments again to report on the slow LOCAL connection and also on behalf of all the users in the "Premium IP".

By the way "pillowman" or others here how is the packet loss on the normal ranges now?
