how to mod 5.25 bay to 3.5?, For harddisk usage...

Hey guys,how to mod my poseidon310 casing 5.25 bay to 3.5? I know there is some add-on stuff that cost over Rm50 to do that...izzit got any oth method that is cheap?^^

 5.25-3.5" bay converter... costs RM5 per set at All IT 1 set good for 1 HDD

erm,any oth way except that?i saw ngbh selling another type...RM39 i think...can hold hdd and got fan for it...it is a hdd mobile rack

do u mean fit hdd into 5.25"? lol is 2.5 into 5.25. i was shocked when i c 5.25" into 3.5" coz quite impossible since 3.5" is smaller. Anyway the thing just cost RM5, i buy from ngbh. Note: it doesn't comes with screws.

@@ what is ur point?ya,i mean fix 3.5 hdd into 5.25 bay... mod 5.25 into 3.5 so 3.5 hdd can fix in... erm,am i wrong?sorry if i did...^^

No need kwa... just use elastic band lar... like those use for clothes.... use 2 piece... make a tight loop around the bay's ....twist twist and put the small drive in the middle.
Virtually free and absolutely vibration free.

but if u moves the case around then i can imagine your hdd rolling in your case! not only your hdd spoil that time.

I use to suspend all my HDD's in the past.. before got all those vibration isolating mounts etc. It's one of those old tricks that the folks from silentpcreview uses. The trick to it is to have the elastic tight enough. Last time I suspend 4x 3.5" drives also no problem.
