Corsair/Mushkin. I'm using Corsair smile.gif

I saw reviews that people saying Crucial works with it as well. What's the difference anyway?

Any brand is ok but you will not get the SSD's optimum speed since your iMac 2010 only use SATA2 3Gbps interface.

Samsung 850 series is a good choice.

Compare that to the 840?

Much better. The 840 had some firmware issue previously.

The thing about my MBP is that the fan keeps spinning in a very high speed and sometimes the computer is slow. Do you reckon that changing the SSD and blow out all the dust from the fan will help?

Hi all,

MY MBP has been acting weird lately. It'll automatically turn off after unplugging the magsafe even though it's fully charged. According to Coconut Battery, I still have 74% of battery capacity. Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks
