regarding extended 3 years ACPP plan, is it safe to let go my origin 4GB RAM which I've already replaced it with 8GB Kingston? Will my warranty still protected as well as for the new RAM that I've upgraded? please advise. thanks

The warranty only covers the original configuration that was shipped out of the apple factory. If you upgraded your ram as part of your order, yes warranty will be covered. Else you will have to send for RMA in the event your newly upgraded ram fails.

Hope it helps

please take note that..KVR rams doesnt work as same like the ram manufactured for apple..the response is slightly slower.. i did on my new model mac mini..and i notice its slightly slower to respond.

if comparing to the value of money, it is still acceptable.
cheap ram but slow performance.

hmm...Could you state the memory timings for your ram? both the kingston and the original apple rams.
