QUOTE(arctura @ Nov 7 2009, 05:46 PM) Hi, Yes, but make sure you test the RAM on the spot, cause Macbook is very picky when comes to RAM. For example, I bought a Kingston 4GB RAM label "KVR". After using for while, I got beach ball problem when launching some applications. Went back to the shop changed to Apple Certified RAM label "KTA", no more beach ball problem, everything works fine. Just want to confirm. Can I goto lowyat any IT shop buy any DDR3 ram and use in my MacBook unibody?? The funny thing is one of my friend use "KVR" RAM, don't get the beach ball problem at all. So I guess its depends on your luck. This post has been edited by mamakap: Nov 7 2009, 06:24 PM |

Just update my momentus xt to SD24 for my 13" mbp. The upgrading procedure was smooth, no error messages appear or what so ever. What I can tell is my HDD run much quieter then before, and slightly much faster.
