Hi!

I am also planning to upgrade my MBP 2009 (Intel Core 2 Duo) to 8gb RAM. But was told to use Apple Certified rams...which cost way much more.....can I use the above Kingston ram that you mentioned?

How much are you getting those for? I will be installing it myself, a friend showed me how to do it with the Philips screw to open the back cover, just Youtube it and you'll get a step-by-step instruction.

Thanks!

im not sure if your model supports but if I'm right there are forumers

doing that on your model .
KTA-MB1333/4G x 2 @ RM230

That's the model I'm buying and at that price from '' Hikari85 ''

A reputable seller with great price . RM10 for postage unless you

are from Penang or they have a distribution office somewhere jalan imbi

if I'm right .

But though now Raya , waiting patiently until GedEX open then he ship out

get it from Jayacom, they let me try and gave me 14 days to test it.
if it doesn't work perfectly in the 14 days they would have gave me a refund.
but it turns out to be working fine  rclxms.gif

Hi...hi....

Just upgraded my MBP 2009 ram to 8gb (2 x 4gb) Kingston KVR n it worked. Also upgraded from my Hitachi 160gb 5400rpm to a Hitachi 500gb 7200 rpm.

Now reinstalling my Snow Leopard........so far the HDD is still quiet n don't feel much difference on the heat issue....

RAM at RM69 a piece, later saw a shop selling at RM67 :-/ n my HDD at RM195.... Lowyat Plaza
