Current:
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011)
2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
320GB HDD

Plan:
Mixed Drive Setup
Main Bay >>>> SSD Sata 3
Optical Bay >>>> move my current 320GB here
16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Is there any problem/issue with my plan?
I plan to do a clean install of OS in SSD, but remain my data files in HDD. After i install OS, how can i delete OS in HDD without delete the data files in it?

you meant to leave the files in 320GB hdd and clean install your OS in SSD... as long as you don't erase or partition your 320GB... .the files will remain there...

clean install means a clean wipe and reinstalling everything from scratch again...you have to backup your SSD drive...

Ok thank you. Which RAM should I go for, and how much will it cost each, for example, for 8GB a piece

KVR sits under RM150 depending on where you buy for a piece of 8GB nowadays... it is basically the same memory but kingston claims they certify it for apple machines...i believe, the service centers also would not kacau so much if the machine is sent in with KTA memory installed...

it's more money... but buys you peace of mind... i have a lot of friends who goes for KVR because it is almost half the price at it's lowest compared to KTA and they have no issues...
