QUOTE(mfitri77 @ Dec 13 2011, 11:53 AM) Sorry, but that is nonsense. The only way you mac cannot boot or hand is if you didn't install the memory right or you put in wrong memory, or you are talking about PowerPC macs. In fact, I have used a lot of corsair rams before, and mushkin in a lot of macs before without any problems. Even then, the symptoms of a bad memory doesn't usually manifest themselves that clearly. Or maybe it's just placebo effect. Im working in an authorized reseller la... rams we are selling are same price as czone... there was 2 customers using mush kin ram on their mbp 2011 and after a few months they came back and when the thing ran memtest it auto shutdown.. change back to ori ram no prob at all... so any explanation for thisThe ones that do give me problems are KVR rams, or any Kingston, to be exact. A lot of resellers are selling Mac tested ram, for me I would recommend Corsair Mac rams if you could get them, barring that, get the mushkin or normal corsair ram. In my experience, they have the least problems when paired with an intel mac. Whatever you do, don't go to Authorized reseller like MacXXXXX la or MacXXXXX la. That is like going to sacrifice yourself at the altar of stupidity of paying a premium. QUOTE(saabmorales @ Dec 20 2011, 12:08 PM) hi mfitri77, u can drop by at out shop... charge the same price for ram like u buy in view net etcI'm new here and am planning to get my imac's 4gb RAM upgraded to 8gb. where can I get the corsair 120rm which is compatible to my imac? and also, im not sure how to put it in, so do you recommend anywhere who can do it for me? QUOTE(feins @ Dec 20 2011, 01:57 PM) You can replace back the original DVD rom back to its original n replace back all original part before send in for warranty. heap the simplest wayAdded on December 20, 2011, 1:59 pm Replacing iMac ram is a nobrainer actually the memory bay door are just below ur iMac. QUOTE(mfitri77 @ Dec 20 2011, 02:39 PM) I never used iMacs before, since most of my power desktops are windows based. As far as I know, they use the same memory as notebook sized rams, and yes, the memory bay doors are just below your iMac, check the apple website for specific details on what ram to buy according to your iMac version. i store is by czone so we help replace ram same price as czoneNormally get my rams from either Viewnet, or C-Zone. QUOTE(feins @ Dec 23 2011, 12:32 AM) Whatever brand also no problem. Only think is that you need to enable trim manually. That's all. I'm using 3rd party SSD on my mbp unibody 2008. how to do that |

QUOTE(ejat666 @ Apr 9 2012, 06:38 AM) Hi guys, I have a few questions regarding iMac 2011 ram since I'm planning to upgrade the existing 4GB to 12GB ( add another 2X4GB stick ); either get the Corsair MAC memory or KTA.. i do sell them too1. Any recommended brand? 2. Where can i find shop that sells 2X4GB kit around selangor / kl? Most of them just sell single 4GB stick. 3. http://www.lelong.com.my/crucial-4gb-1333m...3-02-Sale-P.htm - Will this work as dual channel since i bought it separately ( not 2X4GB kit ). I've read somewhere that dual channel 2x4GB kit ram is compatible & has been tested by manufacture to pair together, unlike separate stick. Is it true? TQ! |
