Thanks for the lots of info here guys.
I just upgraded my Macbook Aluminum Unibody (Late 2008 Model) a week ago with 8GB of RAM. Didn't want to take the risk of non-certified Apple RAM due to my heavy reliance on my Macbook to do photoshop, so I bought 4+4 Kingston KTA Module at Cycom Low Yat. I've also upgraded to 500GB WD Scorpio Blue and reinstall Snow Leopard.
Pushed it to the limit with 20+ Safari tab, heavy 24layer photoshop work and Red Alert 3, so far, no problem at all.

QUOTE(hairol83 @ Mar 21 2011, 07:31 PM) @belakios - does your Unibody Alum MacBook show 8GB of RAM? The one and only Unibody aluminum MacBook only support up to 6GB of RAM with Apple officially said only support up to 4GB. Yes, it shows 8GB RAM. The secret? Is all here! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
