I think it's the same. But I buy direct from them. They quote me a price include postage.
Already bought few set for my customer.
So far satisfy.

is this considered apple ram?

Corsair Apple 8 GB Dual Channel Kit DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) 204-Pin DDR3 Laptop SO-DIMM Memory CMSA8GX3M2A1066C7

Added on April 26, 2012, 4:49 amI'm also upgrading my HDD to SSD. But i'm having trouble choosing. At first i plan to go for the Vertex 3, but vertex 4 just came out so i'm having second thoughts. Some users online says that the Samsung 830 is better. Any advice?

CMSA8GX3M2A1066C7 is a Apple Certified Ram. I do sell it also.
For SSD, i saw reviews on the new SanDisk Extreme.
Really cheap and it has a Sandforce controller

Hi Sifus,
Currently I'm using MBP 15" Late 2011 model,I want to upgrade RAM.
If I buy RAM and change myself will void warranty?
Which brand of RAM to buy? Afraid buying wrong RAM.

Wont void warranty. Bring your MBP to computer shop. Change on the spot. Run some test..Verify the ram is working

Kingston KTA or Corsair Mac Memory are good buy.

Dont buy at apple retail shop, price might double or triple.

Can consider if the price is good - 16GB RAM for MBP 15". -
Update: Just put in order at Amazon.de for a pair. Thanks for the link.
Strangely Amazon.usa cannot ship to Malaysia but amazon.de can.

Also interested in 2.5" 1TB 7200 rpm HDD but cannot find. Maybe does not exist??
Correction - It does exist locally, Saw on the LYN price list.
