Thanks the mac mini uses DDR3 1333 Mhz RAM. http://www.apple.com/macmini/specs.htmlnothing specific. though it's preferable if u bring ur mac mini to the shop and ask them to install & test for you on the spot. just in case. 2x4gb RAM should be not more than rm250 QUOTE(uniquexme @ Aug 4 2011, 07:34 PM) guys, stay away from WD Blue Scorpio 1TB 5400rpm internal HDD for your mbp. it really is what forum said, runs slower than my 250GB original HDD. how come?

Sifus, can I just ask coz I can't seem to find this anywhere. If I were to install a new HDD for my MBP, will I be prompted to format the disk when I am installing OS X?
And after that, I assumed that I can use back my Time Machine backup to restore to my last restored state.

The best to test ram, using REMBER right? Or are they any tools to test the ram?

Thanks in advance... Rember is just a GUI for memtest. You can get an Mac installer for memtest here http://www.command-tab.com/2008/01/11/how-...under-mac-os-x/or the memtest source from http://www.memtest.org. Best way is to boot into single user mode and run from the command line. That way it can test all the ram.
