As suggested by wei, it'll be best for you to ring up AppleCare and talk to them. Negotiate with them and who know what they can do for you
I always have good-ending experience with AppleCare, although there are 2-3 times i have to ring them back few times to kpkb a bit before they provide me the services i'm eligible to.
