I dont buy reference book for language subjects like BM and Eng except for the sastera/literature part. I used East view for the sastera/literature.

For math/add math, i dont buy reference book too, i bought workbooks only. sasbadi/oxford fajar/east view/pelangi also good

For science subjects, i used SUCCESS oxford fajar series. pretty good.
EST workbooks i used oxford fajar and other publishers as well.

Other subjects.. I don't know...

Science subjects - Oxford
Add math - Pelangi
Sejarah- sasbadi

Sejarah you dun hv to get any reference book, a textbook is enough..
Use textbooks will do. Trust me. =) haha

Have you try Pelangi or Longman? Fajar Bakti is good too during my SPM study year few years ago.

addmaths=No need reference book.

I used to use Pelangi, Longman, Sasbadi . Beware of answers given in Fajar Bakti especially Sejarah one, a lot of the answers are incorrect. you hv to refer to ur txtbook or teacher.
