Hi folks,

I have been recently approached by supposingly 2 different people off the internet via emails. In both cases, they require the goods to be sent to nigeria. The manner which they ask to get the deal done isnt right and I decided to forgo the deal, rather than later regret the decision to go ahead with the deal.

They will ask for your banking details so as to remit the payment thru. However this is where the trouble comes in, the usual double confirming of the features of the product is not mentioned at all which is pretty fishy ... as all of you sellers will agree with me that 10 out of 10 pple will ask this and that regarding the product you are selling.

So this is my warning to all traders, beware, i am predicting a new wave of internet scams coming and do pay extra attention to purchases that is rushing and requires you to send the items to nigeria.

I am wondering also what possible harm can they use with my banking details ???
Like
Bank, Account Name, Account Number ...

Thank you and beware ...

Suspucisious email addresses:
* carlosklinson@gmail.com - carlos klinson (claims that "he" is in UK, but when i ask him to contact my friend in Hull, he contradicts himself by saying he is not in UK)
* collins_marry26@yahoo.com - Collins Marry (turns out that he has a yahoo nick in hongkong ebay)

You got your hope too high dude.. Too high, no ONE would IMPORT anything that EXPENSIVE+HEAVY because delivery cost is already equivalent to the price of what you can get at your own home. 250 euro, doh!

Anyway, that's not important, let's take this it this way.

You gave your bank info unncessarily to other people, so in the end, they decided to do third party scam. You are not involved directly, but indirectly, so they made a police report. You got screwed, who you gonna blame on? They might be doing phishing, so it's better avoid this kind of things.
