Hi guys,

I have a Belkin Mimo Wireless Router that recently went dead, possibly due to lightning strike and i am wondering, does Belkin Wireless Modem + Router have lifetime warranty and how could i send it back for a replacement? Is there any website or phone no. that i could call for reference as i kinda lost the receipt of purchase from the shop.

u dont need to refer back to the shop, just call up belkin or go belkin.com.my to see if u qualify for a change.

Hello ... fren ... lifetime warranty ONLY apply to Normal wear and tear .... of the set ..

kena "lighting" is like buying life insurance then commit suicide ....

where on Earth ,, this term apply ......

if my modem went dead after 3 or 4 years and not caused by lighting,can I get the replacement of new modem from belkin since I bought it this year?

actually aztech modem warranty also cover lightning strike. That was when I went to their support center few years back. I didn't update myself since then. Not sure whether they still cover lightning strike now.

bro i have went before, the technical ppl mention that lightning strike is not covered..^^
only if faulty then they give 1 on 1 exchange if problem are able to detect.
he say normally belkin will spoil within juz few weeks after purchase if there relli hv a prob..

receipt dun hv also can..

My Belkin Pre-N juz died on me AGAIN!

It's like WiFI's on but, then all the LAN cannot connect..

2 months back was LAN can connect, but no WiFI..got lights on the modem but can't connect eventhough can detect!

I went to claim 2 modems today. One can claim without receipt, but another one that i bought from Tesco need receipt. And i lost my receipt. Dono how now... sad.gif

I went there, and they ask me called 1 300 phone =_=

Guess their partnership is end.....

My belkin modem is lifetime warranty, anyone know where I can claim the warranty?

Is it ECS Astar? MCM? or SIS?

You can try to send it to any mainstream shop in lowyat lor, maybe charge RM30 - RM50 only.

called the 1300 hotline. They need all the receipts.... I cant claim, cos most of my receipt are gone T-T. To all of you using belkin surge protectors, please keep all the receipt.
