Waterfall Survivors, a social group founded on Facebook, the most popular social online network, will be organising a gotong-royong campaign at Kanching Waterfalls in Rawang, Selangor. The campaign details are as follow :

Kanching Waterfalls is very beautiful in every way and from every angle, especially with its magnificent falling cascades. This waterfall has been rated as a premier waterfall in Selangor with seven breathtaking falls, for those who have visited Kanching waterfalls will agree.

However, the condition at Kanching Falls have depleted to an extend which has become unbearable to Waterfall Survivor's standard. As to this, Waterfall Survivors shall be the first to initiate a "cleaning up campaign' to Kanching and hopefully will be able to restore to it's prime glory.

The seven-tier Kanching Waterfalls is rated as one of Selangor’s premier waterfalls and it has been a favourite hang-out for locals, especially during weekends and public holidays. For the sake of preserving our natural heritage for our children, we wish to invite you to join us for this clean-up campaign.

We really hope that you will take this opportunity to Give Back to the Environment by lending us a helping hand in making this event a success.

Thank's for your support. We are aiming for about 300-400 volunteers or more. The government is also doing their part by sponsoring tshirts, foods, transportation etc. Will keep you posted for more information.

By the way, for those who haven't been to waterfalls, trust me, once you are there, all your stress flows away and you'll have a good time.

Our big event is just around the corner. We will be having a registration from 11-15 April 2009 from 11am-8.30pm at Lafuma, No 16, Jalan Telawi, 59100 Kuala Lumpur.

Kindly officially register yourself to be entitled for insurance coverage for the day. There will also be RM20 cash voucher to be given out to the participants during registration on first come first serve.
