i thought i was crazy sitting for 4 professional papers last june
but yeay....i passed all 4 (P1, P2, P3 & P5)

so I have one more optional paper to go before i become an affiliate
still thinking of which paper to take..hmmm

i attended Ms Menon classes last sitting... now i'm wondering whether i should go for Joe Fang classes..

Ms Menon & Joe Fang.... which one better ??? pros & cons...

since you were in menon's class last sitting, it is advised better to stick with the same lecturer since you know the way and methods she approaches this paper.
for me, menon is the best p2 lecturer, i dun think i will pass tis paper without her lecture.

I'm not sure about Menon, but heard from my friend she is good la.

Btw, if you think Menon can't help you, then you can consider other lecturer. Just my friend from EY, in 1st attempt, she can't tahan Menon, finally she failed by 40m. After this, she go to Haneef (MCO), she feel that Haneef more suitable for her, finally she pass P2.

For Joe Fang, he got very special technique for Consol where student can finish 35m consol question less than 45 min. Normally the reason for most of the student study under Joe Fang was they want to learn this special technique la! But for FRS part, Joe Fang just so so only, won't cover too detail. Another disadvantage for Joe Fang is his class size too big, you need to go earlier to book place.

Another lecturer Haneef (MCO), he is very good & detail explanation in both FRS & Consol. You will find very easy to understand when attend his class, expecially FRS part. But Haneef consol too classic where it is "T" a/c method, very slow if use his method during exam. He is boring lecturer oso, very sleepy during attend his class.

In conclusion, that's no perfect or the best lecturer not just for P2 but for all papers. Everything is depend on what you expect from the lecturer:

Menon (Sunway) - you already know the way and methods since you attend B4
Joe Fang (KSA) - Very special technique for Consol, but cover simple in FRS and too many student in one class
Haneef (MCO) - Good & detail explaination but slow in Consol, boring lecturer

Wow..hats off to you! I thought mine was bad (P1, P3, P6, P7), but yours is definitely more impressive with P2 in the fray. Too bad I stumbled with my P6 and can't graduate yet...

failed p6.. haiz only got 39 marks..

anyone knows where to take classes besides sunway? i was thinking about kasturi?

the textbook CKF from last sitting can it still be used for the dec 09 sitting?

You can try Low Chin Ann (Kolej Bandar) for P6. So far, student study under him also said he is ok for this paper.

If I'm not mistake, CKF text book from last sitting not so suitable already since coming Dec 09 sitting will be test under Budget 2009.

i have quit some time din update on tax.

Seems to me tax has become killer paper in MYS but I think its not fair to blame all on lecturer or examiner.
1) I had asked some other P6 students & almost all lecturers spot question (impossible to teach everything)
2) Examiner did released the articles content (2) but only few marks. So I think many students overstudy the articles like IPC, RDC & OHQ & forget about other areas.
Anyway it seems all optional seems equally difficult now, last time everyone choosed P5 then select 1 from the other 3.

I still remember last time I'm study 3.2 under Kwai Fatt. In normal class, he try cover most of the syllabus and spot question during revision class.

But he always spot wrongly. 2 sitting b4 my sitting, he spot RPGT (easier topic in 3.2 but no longer under syllabus currently) and told student sure come out. But unlucky no RPGT question during that 2 sitting. Ha Ha, he kena blame by student already.

But don't let Kwai Fatt know if u photostat his text book, otherwise he will be very angry. Ha Ha

Which lecturers good for p2 and p7, to start in this august intake.

heard Sheila in McOrange good for P7. How does she conduct her normal class and revision? is it just theory based or she practices lot of exam questions in normal class.

and how about Spencer in FTMS for P2? how is his classes?

24th August I think.
A sunway friend told me that his uni also had a lot of people failed P6.
Maybe we need CKF more than ever now.
I just read the examiner's report on P4 & P6 :
P4 : Examiner released stuff mostly to do with UK not internationally, thats why many non Uk students are confused.
P6 : Examiner experiment by putting up very old & unpopular topics. One funny note is that he recommend students to take English classes.
