I just changed to Postpaid celcom plan, act. this is my company line.
last time i am Maxis user, about the contact number all i have save it in +60...(follow the phone no.)
but when i changed to celcom, this really make me heading.
when all my friend called me, there is no name appear when ringing.
so, i tried to delete +60...just put it my friend number like 012-2345678 and save it.
after that when my friend call me there is a name appear.

how know another problem i find out again.
because i deleted +60...when my friend sms to me, where is no name appear for the number.
i am crazy, what happening with celcom?
now all my contact no. i try to save it in 2 number like +6012-2345678 and 012-2345678.
Omg..anybody celcom user can tell me are u facing the same problem with me?


Hi all, please help..
because yesterday i cannot install the caller ID fix.
i decide upgrade to 2.2.1 firmware..
now i hv already upgrade to the 2.2.1 firmware i found that no signal in my phone.
i already done JB and install yellowsnow 2 times.
but...still no signal come out
i checked b4 upgrade, my phone is new zealand set

its i phone problem..not celcom..mb u can check d setting..i oso dun noe how//\\..heehe..but obviously not celcom prob

but last time with i using maxis there is no such problem at all..
after change to celcom i just facing this problem.
anywhere i am still using 2.1 version..
wanna upgrade to the newest version but lazy do backup

I just brought iPhone and same problem with you. I using Celcom and had to save both number to make the name appear.

I am using celcom plus iphone as well but only face this problem once. I guess the response of the phone is slow.

All of u guys r facing one tiny little prob. Just go to cydia( hv to Jb ur iPhone for tat) n install caller id fix or format fix.
No big prob here.

I have a Maxis iPhone and have the same problem. If I put my number as +6012xxx xxxx then it'll show in calls but not sms but if I remove, it's the other way round. Weird?

it's a common issue, just follow what harmeet15 said then it'll be fine... cheers!

The thing is, if I were to put the +6012 in front of my numbers (i.e. +6012 299 3399) in address book but when I type the number manually in keypad (299 3399), it no longer detects the name automatically and display.

I've installed the fix from Cydia, rebooted the phone and same thing, doesn't help Do I need to configure anything?

This is weird...i am celcom user too but i havent face d problem after i installed caller id fix...or maybe u can do this

and i am using iphone 3g 8gb 2.2.1...

I did that (copying the file into the phone) but it crashed my "Phone" and I can't even open up the screen. I end up restoring again. Well, no idea why mine has this weird problem. Do I need to also download that "FormatFix"?
