guys, if we perform the hack helloX yet still can do soft reset with *#7370# right, and the hack will be gone. is it void the warranty since we can reset it back?

for me, dun want to use Hello OX cause still need the warranty from NCC...  icon_idea.gif

btw have u test install unsign application without buggy?  sweat.gif
*
i can install any unsign apps with no problem at all. and, if got any problem, based from china forum, u can do hard reset then everything will be as normal again. dont worry about the warranty since my previous phone n95 still ok.

no buggy
*
i dont know why its void the warranty since it is based on software. ya it is illegal but u still can revert to normal.

have u try using Kastor Effect??

why r u so worried bout that warranty..
when u confirm u want to send ur tube to NCC, just make sure to do a hard format first lor.
most of them just check the warranty sticker and imei no only.just from my experience lor... nod.gif

tried already kastor UI but seems it crash everytime on boot. need to do soft reset to recover back.

Already try...still the same aa bro..still searching for signal. Waited about 10 mins

i guess i know the reason. for any1 using their tube surfing internet, make sure u delete 1st your access point. it is because, garmin will try to connect to Wi-Fi access point then around 10 minutes after cant connect to that connection it will again to use other alternative, and tada, u will connect to satelite. i myself encounter this problem. after i delete the access point ( i mean here access point that i always use to surf internet at my college cafe ), then i try to connect garmin, it just took me about 4 second (after i pressed I Agree then its locked already smile.gif ). Give it a try, i dont know is it really works but its perfect for me.

By default, all Nokia bulit in GPS will be wth 'Assited GPS" enabled. & yes, u will incur gprs/edge/3G charges but very minimal.

To switch off The Assisted function (Which will slow down abit of acquisition timing), goto:

setting>>Phone>>Application setting>>Positioning>>positioning methods>>Unclicked "Assisted GPS"
*
use A-GPS will charge us very minimal. and it just charge us once then after locked to satelite there is no charges anymore.

btw bro, what is different with garmin and Nokia Maps (default apps in Nokia phone, Maps). i already test it, it cost me RM0.10 everytime i use it and i dont think i see any navigation option there. care to explain?

Nokia maps Navigation system need to subscribe mah..It cost me RM40/mth when I first try it last year. If u no need the navigation system, the maps is FOC using the Nokia Map loader program. However the maps is pretty outdated! Lotsa new roads in Klang Valley completed years ago but not updated!!. However, their secondary arteries roads, roads surrounding flats, roads inside factories are more complete than malfreemaps/malsingmaps! - However if us witch to hybrid & satelite view...u will also kena 3G/edge rate!!

Garmin..u buy the software online or get it from any phone retailer..I think ~RM120 only for license Garmin. Thereafter..Everything from satellite& the frequent maps updates from malfreemaps & not so frequent malsingmaps...are FREE.

I see, thanks for clarify that! I guess i go with garmin. How about google maps? is it more accurate if want to zoom at ground?

im also confused why ppl say using helloox will break warranty.

i have uninstalled the hello ox and the other need of it, after installing all the apps that i need.
and i can see that everything on my phone is back to normal.  laugh.gif
*
same me. but they got it tricks there. 1st when i try install helloX, i cant install any unsigned apps, after do soft reset also i try same thing, then can install any of it. btw, after hacked the phone, u can modify param in phone to make a good quality of camera. based what i read at other forum.
