Hehe, I'm currently using a Bose in ear. Good SQ, yes. Overpriced, yes. laugh.gif
But it offers comfort and still allows me to socialize with people around me. I think when i buy another one next month I'm still gonna keep these as my outdoor earphones. A proper sealing IEM would be for when I'm in my personal moments enjoying my music, closing my eyes and forget the world.

Aeon, welcome!! biggrin.gif

Oh yeah, how much to replace the front casing? One that covers the LCD. I got mine scratched so deep, I don't think having an SP in the first place would do any good. It seriously is deep, you can get your fingernail stuck in there. Luckily it's still outside the main screen.

The triport. RM300.

The bass response is good and the sound is leaps better at flat EQ than the stock Nokias(no surprise though. tongue.gif ).
What it lacks though is that it doesn't quite involve you in the music. I can't feel the musicians like leaping out of the player and play their music around you, get what I mean? Soundstage is alright but not great. For that, I think it is overpriced. But comfort is top notch I'd say for me. Oh yeah, even with minimum volume with lineout, the music still can be heard quite clearly, as in what the singers are saying and most instruments can be heard. Good for outtings with friends while still wanting to hear your music.

Aiya urs special case... then cannot judge based on your purchase.. because I thought only those who paid the full RM1499 can get the free BT headset... was wondering if anyone paid around RM1300 and got the BT headset hmm.gif

There is no 'best' earphone that suit with the tube but there may be a 'best' earphone that suit you.

As you can see some of us are using Creative EP-630, some using Crossroads Bijou 3, some using Crossroads X3i, some using a Bose (such as tunertoobe tongue.gif )... I myself I am using a SoundMagic PL-30.

Basically there are so many models out there.. just that you need to find one that suites your taste in music. Because some people like vocals... some people like more bass... some people like more instrumental.. and all those earphones I mentioned above plays the different types of songs... differently smile.gif

Btw, someone from Dailymobile.se suggested that if only we can extract the Divx codec from Omnia HD, we can play DivX on our tube. because the Omnia HD plays DivX thru the RealPlayer.. and Omnia HD is also using s60v5 so basically it definitely will be compatible with the tube (as can be seen we can play divx thru iSmartmovie so basically its just the codec issue and not a hardware issue)

I found the WMA/WMV codec in our tube's Z drive and I bet if someone installs Y-browser on an OMNIA HD, he can extract the divx codec

Hey. laugh.gif

I admit, eventhough the SQ is good I wouldn't recommend it. It is overpriced. The only thing it's good for is bass and comfort. Even bass can be overdone at times and I had to move up treble a bit with the EQ. I'm buying a new one next month but still keep this one though. tongue.gif

Plus I read somewhere that they did a test on the earphones, the impedance is 32 ohm. Kinda big and surely will eat up batt life. But freq response is 6Hz-24kHz. Still not from bose but an independent test done by someone out there.

Final word. Buy it only if you're both looking for comfort and bass. Otherwise look elsewhere, there are better bargains.

I wanted to help you guys upload this a few days ago but screamyx was damn sluggish I couldn't go on mediafire but anyway its alright today so here it is...
Download Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Original Fonts
Its not really the DIGI file that has the chinese... its in both the first two fonts (s60sc_c and s60tchk_c) . The DIGI file is for the digital characters you see on your calculator. To get Chinese font support you need to merge your custom font with the first two fonts. Mind you once again I am saying this,

s60sc_c.ttf
and
s60tchk_c.ttf

are two different files... in fact if you have a font editor you can open both the original files and see what is inside and you will understand..
I am currently using SoundMagic PL-30... seriously... it is way beyond my expectation. I'm so in love with them right now. Maybe if got gathering we can bring our IEM and compare. I would like to test the Bijou or X3i
Actually... the credit is only a few cents.. I rather spend the few cents to get a few seconds lock than to waste minutes of my battery and precious time.. I have tried once without A-GPS I waited 10 minutes still cannot lock. In the end I fed up just switch it on and within 5 seconds it locks  sweat.gif

My brother , can u send me the fonts editor too .... !
Because I find nearly a hours more aslo can get the good fonts editor ,
can u post up the link here too ?

thanks u first !!
