Hokkaido..the best choice for backpack..lots of malaysian student..at Hakkodate ,Muroran,Sapporo and Kitami..must go..Niseko , Toya Lake ,Hakkodate, Otaru ,Furano,Shiretoko,Akan Kok,..you rent the ryokan..minimum ￥2000 per night.

The main airport to Hokkaido are Haneda airport..to Chitose Airport Hokkaido.Please buy flight ticket in advance ..you might get cheaper..less ￥10000

Before travel..make sure you have money ￥200,000...around RM6000... smile.gif

Travel in Japan will cost you more money compare other places..the car rental per day will cost you ￥6000 ..for meals..at least ￥2000　per day. Ryokan minimum per night ￥3000 ..Petrol..1 liter = ￥1.60..estimated ￥40,000 .Flight ticket return from Haneda to Chitose...￥25,000. Land transfer from Narita to Haneda ￥2400　one way..and return ￥5000.
