wanna ask how is the situation in Japan with the outbreak of H1N1. i planning to go there end of this month but everyone advice me not to go

my visa and everything is ready. my flight booked but my mom ask me to cancel it in fear of H1N1

Japan got military doctors, nurses and lots & lots of medical personnel at all their airports (especially Narita Airport) since Day 1 of the outbreak.
Plus, there are no pigs imported from Mexico since the last 10 years

Personally I think regarding the possibility of H1N1 infection, its more dangerous to stay in Malaysia than in Japan
There is already a Sarawakian guy got detain on suspicion of having the flu, but he was proven negative.
Japan is still safe on 0%

I just got back to Tokyo today and passed the immigration. There's isn't much about the outbreak aside from filling up a form to declare that you're not having any flu-like symptoms or visited any of the high-risks countries and you need to provide at least a contact number in Tokyo (can be your hotel phone number).

Aside from that, it was business as usual... nothing out of the ordinary.

i guess i shall proceed with my plans although the whole group trip is canceled. gonna go there all alone to visit my friend (instead of following group).

my friend just reported from Heathrow Airport in London and he said only the Japanese wore mask in the airport and the immigration officer have to shout to them to ask them to remove the mask

i am planning on traveling to japan this may with my friends.
we are planning on staying one week. i don't have much of an itinerary yet-
but I was thinking about 4 days in tokyo, 1 day in osaka and 1 day in hokkaido and then returning to tokyo to fly home.
so how much u guise think i should bring? is 300000¥ enough?
the hotel shud rate be between 50k to 100k rite?
and i heard a ryokan rate is between 5k to 10k really cheap
is 300k enough?
