On a personal note, please never every buy cheaplak cables to connect to your Iphone/Ipods I've had many Ipods over the years and most have seen fairly high usage.. but my IPot is the only one with problems to its charging port now, because of a no-brand ipod cable ..

I bought it one day when I realized I was in the office (used to work in BTS) and had no cable to charge my IPot, so I went to a crappy store and bought a cheaplak rm 20 cable.. that thing had always been a "tight" fit into the port and now my IPoT even with an original cable needs to jiggle the cable a bit and not touch it for it to start charging
