QUOTE(nokia2003 @ Apr 15 2009, 05:58 PM) hah! that's what i thought as well. stringfellow will never patronise one utama as it is too low class for him (he only likes klcc) and he doesn't wanna "expose" his ride to the public WTF! My ride is everyone else's ride, the trusty free shuttle bus to Ikano! I just don't like that general area, too close to my enemies. |

If budget is an issue, B&W is certainly not for you. Their Reference 800 series speakers is widely acknowledged as the best in the world. The design and technology that goes into those speakers have been applied and used in the creation of the Zeppelin.
Music through HT setup is flat at best. Which is why audiophiles have specific and separate setup for their home theatre system meant to be used with movies, and their audio playing equipments. Using one for the other will deflate your listening experience. But hey, money talks these days, both in term of whether you have it, or not. I totally understand where you are coming from when you say it is expensive. But my test yesterday reveals an audio experience, unmatched by any other iPod speakers setup, even the Sounddock II from Bose. If you are serious about listening lossless sound from your iPod, this is it. |

Apple Lossless. Diana Krall's "Quiet Nights" album never sounded so good!
Excellent on the regularly encoded MP3s as well. |
