Hi dude,

Is your coverage area is still new? let say... 2, 3 weeks?
If so, you might get some problem to surf the net with P1 without any dc.
My area is at Ampang and when i noticed that my house is already covered (new coverage, like 2, 3 weeks old), its very hard to get no dc, as far as i remember, i can stay connected like 8/9 hours before dc. You need to find a good G-Spot of P1 at ur house, after getting the right spot, on the modem for 30 minutes. blinking amber/green still ok, at least you know ur area can get the coverage. After 30 minutes, if you can't get a static signal, try to face ur modem other side, maybe left, right or center, try it. I've been doing this too for quite sometimes. If you can get a static red signal, dah ok, u already can surf the net but better if you can get amber signal.

currently, after a month of struggling finding the correct direction at my house sweat.gif  ,
i can get amber signal. youtube stream ok, download also ok. worth of it.  rclxm9.gif

p1 advice us to put the modem towards outside the window but actually we must face it towards p1 base station at our current area.. the direction of the p1 base station can only be check by p1 reseller when u are buying it... just my 2 cent....

i agree on that but sometimes, it will be better if i put the modem the other side of the base station. example: at the p1 website it say put the modem facing right, i will put my modem on the left bcuz if i put the modem on the right, i get red signal and if i put the modem on the other side, i can get amber signal.  sweat.gif

i think it depends on the area it self.
i'm testing p1 in 2 different areas. so far so good.  thumbup.gif
