Depends on your scale

Some people would get 32" (common your living room is like 11ft , 32 inch is going to be like pretty small) and then not to mention speakers and such. In other words you'll have to go higher - unless you don't mind buying a cheap 5.1 home entertainment system and cheap alternatives
