I need sifu's here to advice or suggest where to buy/get the accessories such as HTPC casing, VFD or LCD Panel, remote control etc, as I'm tired looking around and searching at LYP. Just indicate the shop and location. Thank.

LCD panels:
Would you consider ordering online or getting them in Singapore? I used to get a few LCD panels in Singapore (Sim Lim Square) and have also bought a couple from frozencpu.com (unfortunately they don't deliver to Malaysia, so I had them delivered to my auntie's place in Singapore, and I picked them up on my next trip there).

Casings:
I bought my two casings for HTPCs (one is SFF/mATX, the other is full ATX desktop type) from Silverstone's distributor in KL (been trying to find the contact info but I think I lost it). There are a few Silverstone casings on display in a small shop at LYP, 4th floor, very near the lift and the big Thundermatch store.

Remotes:
Sorry can't help you there, my remotes all came bundled with my tuner cards (Hauppage) or my LCD panels (Vlink's MPlay Blast).

Remote , it depends which kind of remotes you're looking for. You can get a MCE Remote + iR Blaster from a seller who sells it here in Lowyat or it comes together with compatible TV tuner

You can actually build your own LCD panel...but modding needed.

or u can buy from Levisguy and ask Bombman to mod it for ya.

Last time i bought one LCD panel from Levisguy and he sent it to Bombman for modding. So you pay for the panel to Levisguy and modding service to Bombman.

But dunno whether they're still active or around or not.

As for remote, you can get MCE remote easilt for about RM119 fro LowYat. Or you can get it together with TV Tuner.

Sorry for asking noob question. Why you need a LCD for HTPC? Once you powerup your HTPC, all the navigation is display on your TV. No?

Please do search and learn about the basic principle of HTPC and VFD panel function. To be precise search on silverstone MFP51 VFD Display or thermaltake A2331 VFD medialab. Everything will explain there and I hope that will answer your question.

I do pay attention on both LeVisGuY & Bombman's services.
but I'm late.... LeVisGuY intent do do next bulk of panel but seem like responses are low, only me monitoring and waiting....
and Bombman have MIA case before, I guess he not that active as last time anymore... I guess many forumers also will worries as a US bulk case happend before.

I'm personally using a coolerMaster CM Media 282 with VFD display. Iirc I ordered the case from JustPC. Can order the Media Center kit with the case, which will provide the internal VFD and remote sensor fitting along with a MCE remote. VFD is an OEM iMon display tho that must be connected by USB... I bought some internal USB connectors from FrontX so don't need to have usb cables and plugs jutting out from back of case.

can show some picture? I'm using CM Media casing too but without VFD display. you know how much if only buy CM VFD display?

I'm using a Zalman HD160XT Plus htpc casing. Should meet your requirement. Not sure where to buy in MY though.

anyone know where or which is the cheapest way to get this toy?

What sort of information can the VFD display? eg does it work well with MCE/VMC? Does it show details of the files in my folders? eg movie or mp3 files? so that I dont need the monitor to be connected/switched on?

I think we can also DIY with the 2x16 lcd panels (eg program with Smartie)
