b line? auto or manual?

1. 260km i think is little too high. my bldm auto runs 200km per rm50, which works out at 7.2km / litre. very high consumption indeed. i think you are sharing my sadness. rclxub.gif

2. this is not normal. idle rev shd be at 1000rps. auto gear shifting is smooth and i love it.

fyi, my 6 month old blm auto has only 6k km.

Ah,

mine runs at rm500 for 200km, it works out as 25 sen /km. the advertisement says 12 to 14 sen and saga is the most fuel efficient. i went to proton and they said 'saga is like that la' ...... i always get the same answer for any of my questions !!! mad.gif

there is a friend here who says he can run for 440km per full tank ! i really envy his saga performance! maybe our saga are still new?

luckily, my car engine is behaving good, smooth and very little of the sounds you mentioned ..... phewwwwwwwww ..... you must go for a complete engine tune up !

YESSSSSS !!! this is my problem too. i sent my saga for service and everytime they told me it is done and no more sound. but next morning as i reverse the car out from my house, the "chit chit" sound occurs again !!! ady 3 times i sent for the problem but still "chit chit chit" everytime i get my car out from my house in the morning and while i stop. but after the car gets warm up, there is no more such sound ....

the foreman asked me is it the front or back wheel prob, but i WISH I KNOW !!!

ady 2 services liao, and the fc is still high at rm50 for exactly 200km. sign ........ sigh ........

hope you people are right > it can go beyond 300km per rm50.

oh yes, the default/factory iafm has prob. this os confirmed by proton foreman.

i heard something in front or at the bottom of my blm auto 2 weeks back, and i sent my blm auto and the proton manager says 'no need to wait for the replacement iafm parts to come. some have been waiting since january 2009!!!' so i followed his recomendation and got mine 'modified'. i dint know what it meant but mine was 'modified' instead of waiting for the newer or better (?) batch of iafm. but free though to get it replaced.....

also, like someone here, my steering begins to hear "jweet jweet' sound. the sound is soft but sounded like wind blowing softly ..... proton foreman said most likely it was the 'bearing' ..... they dint repair it as they told me to 'wait for the sound to get louder first' ..... wa ha ha ... like this also can .... !@#$$#%^$# dont know safe to drive fast or not geh?

stil my main prob is the fc. at rm50 for 200km, it s robbing my hard earn $$$$$$$

yeah, this is supermakan minyak. proton sc also cnt do much now. i simply wonder why? but hope that after another few k km then it gets better, but i doubt it ..... mad.gif

strange strange! we have the same model, but not the same 'car'? performance is different, but having common factory 'faults' like body sounds and braking probs. sigh.......

I will try out different stations for now and hope to get more mileage for rm50. thanks for the idea.

yes, even after your 10k free service, all parts ar stil under warranty. go get the iafm change as the sc foreman told me most of the blm saga (and other sagas too???) hv this tak tak tak sound. i got mine 'modified' and now no more sound liao .......... go ask for it!!!
