Wa so fast V7 ad. Congratz.

You got your car recently only right? So fast got rattling sound ad. My problem is even major than yours. My power steering fluid getting lower and lower day by day. Now the SC people advice me to come when it goes at the minimum line. And the only sound I heard so far is my steering wheel. When I turn too much when cornering got "kong" sound. I think that sound contributed to the power steering fluid lost. 1 more week for my car to turn 1 month old.

Kinda. When doing U-turns especially or almost turn my steering wheel to max got the sound "kong". I think that sound led to my power steering fluid to reduce everyday.

Added on April 3, 2009, 1:56 pmYes, in just a matter of 2 weeks it dropped until the middle line between max line and min line. Now must wait until it really drop to minimum line then must send my car to SC to replace the rack like some member told me before.

I hope so la. Coz everyday I see my Power Steering fluid level is reducing day by day.

May I ask is my FC consider very bad? RM50=180KM-190KM. 100% City driving, with air-con off when drive during morning. My one is 1.3 AT. Haven't done my 1st service yet. Hope to see some improvement.

I hope so lo. I kinda shocked when I saw the bars dropping so fast. Maybe will improve after 1st service. Plus I control the throttle to maximum 3k rpm.

Haha...will do it after my 1st service. To break in my engine.

It is when reaching 60km/h. All the sudden power started to come and can accelerate 80km/h easily. That one is the final gear for automatic is it?

My one dunno why RM50 can only go 180-190KM only. Hope after my 1st service can have lower FC la.

Hi there. Want to ask...is it our air-con reduce the power/torque of the car? When the air-con kicks in...I can feel the car sudden slow down or feel no power. Must press more accelerator. No wonder our air-con so powerful.

No wonder takes up so much fuel if I on my air-con everytime I drive. Compared to previous week i only on air-con when driving during afternoon.

Does anyone installed Auto-door lock function(Press brake to auto-lock) before? Is it that expensive RM200? Haven't install it yet but just now asked one shop they say is RM200. By the way, does Proton in Glenmarie provide these kind of service like to install auto door lock?

Did anyone go for their 1st service after delaying more than 1 month? Coz my car's mileage is now only 400. N my car is already 1 month. Should i service now or wait until turn 1000km only go service? I scare by that time my car is 2 months plus. Dunno will effect the car engine or not. Off topic, New Proton Exora very nice leh.

But my SC told me to service my car when my mileage is around 900++. I think by another month can reach around 900+, so wait for another month like you said. Thanks for the info.

Hi there. Just asking if any member got install seat cover for Proton Saga before? Coz my car seats started to trap alot of dirt.

Sorry to ask you. Is it your steering oil always decline until minimum level? My one almost going to near minimum line when my car is cooled down. After warming up, the steering fluid rises until middle line. Was it suppose to be like that? And when it rises it's like boiling hot water. Got swirling the oil. Confused here.

That's the same incident that I am facing. My car is almost 1 months ++ going to 2 months in 2 weeks time. Now it's around near to minimum level when it cools down. After start the car it raises to almost middle between max and min line. I haven't service my car yet coz my mileage is just only 400++KM. What did Proton replace your parts? The service person checked my car said no sign of leakage in every part of my engine. This is so weird. I went to my SC like 4-5 times because of this matter. =.=

Ohh ok..now I get it. Coz when I see my mom's Myvi the power steering fluid didn't even moved at all. But our Saga got like boiling water. Next 2 weeks my car is already 2 months. So by that time I should had went for my 1st service. I already went to my SC 4-5 times because I saw a decline in Power Steering fluid. But they found no sign of any leakage in my entire engine. Hope they can resolve this problem when I went for my 1st service.

When I get the car 1st day, its sightly above maximum level. But just in matter of 1 week, it decline like below the maximum level 0.3 cm. Then after like almost 2 weeks it's like around in middle. So I went to SC there. They check for me but no leakage. Then they filled up the power steering fluid and place a mark there. They say go find them back if it is just minimum level. But after 2 weeks later it dropped to middle line again. Coz my mom a bit scare so go back SC again but they cannot do anything. Until now I don't want to go SC ad. Wait for my 1st service only go. That I can let them see the proof that it is around minimum level ad.

When they check I purposely eye on them checking every part of the engine. Can specifically tell me where is the steering rack located? Next time when go 1st service I better tell them where is the location so they can help me check properly. I think my SC don't want me to claim for new parts gua. Headache leh.

My SC had ordered the steering rack for me. Next Monday will go to my SC there and they will install the steering rack for me. Hope later my power steering fluid won't reduce until minimum level again. That's my only wish.
