QUOTE
Prior to installing my lift (DR C/Os) I measured that the driver side was 3/8" lower than the passenger side, I thought this was due to the added weight of course. After the new C/Os were installed, same thing, 3/8".
I spoke with my alignment guy. This is by design. It's to counter the effects of road crown.

quote that from here -Link

QUOTE
ROAD CROWN

Definition: The slope of a road surface to the outside for proper drainage. Excessive road crown can cause a vehicle to lead to the right. Reducing caster on the left front wheel is sometimes used to compensate for road crown.

the IAFM is working fine...only have the irritating sound only
*
what kind of sound? so far i didnt notice any weird sound

only the damn air con radiator super loud

and guys i have one question, why the radio sometime becomes loud & soft by itself like the wires are loose or got power issue

same goes with the lights i can see it "flicker" when the air conditioner radiator fans on/off

i have reached 2100km and its exactly 2 weeks since i got the car

FC is really bad for the auto T___T

RM15 Shell (Green) can go somewhere 80km on average per day + Traffic Jam + trip from Taman Kosas (Ampang) to Dell Cyberjaya
if i speed on MEX highway (135km~145km) tongue.gif RM20 per day then

RM55 full tank can go and back from JB to melaka but need to refill right after reaching melaka

City Driving is the worst when comes to FC, need to rev to get momentum and i think i waste fuel there

owh btw driving Saga BLM Auto MLine

will it improve over time, my dad told me its because the car is still new

u know lah...saga is a new car...brake pad sure they sell expensive
savvy in other hand is old car...if it fits....might be cheaper....just use 1 time mah....until the saga's brake pad dropped price
and i'm very dissapointed with out handbrake
almost every service need to fix
now it's loose...both the handle and the brake itself....handle can wiggle left to right...loose
handbrake itself....after pull...the car can still go back....dn't know how to permanently fix this problem
*
same issue my hand brake & front brake feel very loose, need to press hard to make the car stop
the emergency brake pulak need to pull very hard to stop the car T__T

QUOTE(Aurora @ Jun 13 2009, 12:37 AM)
On a spoilt IAFM, does the "tak-tak" frequency increase when rpm increase? (Meaning the "tak-tak" gets faster?)

Plastic are never meant to be used for cyclic load (e.g. moving part). No matter how great the plastic is, if it is subjected to frequent load and unload, it will tear and break.  doh.gif  doh.gif It's wrong material selection!!! At least used iron or alloy composition on the mounting of the moving part.

Proton could be using double standard, that's why Persona has less IAFM problem (?). As I said earlier, Proton need to address this matter seriously, otherwise the "New Saga" will become history, and so does their reputation.

I give up already. Not getting BLM 1.3 anymore.  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
*
I get the tak tak sound whenever i start the car, not only in the morning even during lunch time or given interval of 3 hours
after about 10 - 20 mins the sound goes away

btw my mileage is around 3k only

QUOTE(loong2020 @ Jun 13 2009, 10:46 PM)
what is the topspeed for blm auto??... brows.gif
*
easily can reach 160km/hr and
168km an hour max, i tried pushing it cant go any further than that - my car only driven about 3000km only so far

and i already start to hate the tak tak sound, my alarm system also giving trouble need to lock unlock and lock back to engage the lock. sigh
