Hi guys, i just sprayed my front grill and rear bumper(lower part) with black color.. problem is that theres a gap that didnt painted in black.. if look upclose, really cacat the black paint..

So now Im guessing using a black color tape to cover the part. But which type/brand that can tahan when its raining.. ?

also, I just installed mudflap..

did you hear it when driving on bumpy road ?
I do hear this krak krak sound, but only when I or passengers enter the car.. When driving, no sound at all... (only some rattling sound at dashboard, but I guess its normal.)

just got back from Taiping last Sunday.. Drove all the way from Ulu Kelang and fuel took about RM60. This baby doesnt wiggle much at 120KM/H.. Im proud of it.

hi, what should I do to remove paint spots? tried using already owned bug/tar remover.. but it wont work..

just did my 5k service.. ask them to change the steering rack but they recommend got o Service Center at Maluri, Desa Tun Razak..

I think better to wait for 1k service.. other problems may occur aswell before reach 1k mileage.. then tell him all the problems of the car.. (my previous experience;do check your power steering oil level(min/max))

if cannot wait, or problem becomes bigger, then just go to Proton Service Center like in Cheras.. they should fix everything since car is still under warranty..

how to differentiate between first and second batch?
the led(left/right signal) on side of the car?

well, each time when I checked the oil level, it decreases.. (I check before start up the car.. so that means its cool down)
maybe is like what you said(rises when engine is turned on)..
but if the oil level keep on decreasing when you checked then theres definitely something wrong with it..
I first checked it after 2 months received the car and its already at minimum line..

yeah, when I send to SC they also said no leaking... they say 'kereta baru no leaking laa' but now its going bad, have to fill each week until above maximum level then at end of week, its below minimum level..
just made appointment with Cheras(Desa Tun Razak) SC this Monday.. wonder what will they say..

my advice to you, wait till 1k service and make sure the oil steering level is below the minimum level then show them.. (for sure it got leaking and they have to do replacement of the rack).

I just sent my car to Proton Service Centre at Cheras,Desa Tun Razak yesterday.. arrived at 8.00 am.. service guy said will contact vendor to supply spare parts but line keeps engage.. he told me it could be done in that day or maybe days.. I took my chances and decided to wait for that day since i got no plan for that day..

at 3.30 pm I ask him again if spare parts arrived or not and he says cannot contact because line still engage..(WTF! from 8.00 am till 3.30 pm line is still engage??) I ask him wether I can take the car go back home and come again 2morow, but he says car already sudah cabut here and there and have to remain there.. he says could be 2 days to fix.
so I took a cabbie and go home..

I've been thinking to change my rear plate.. normal one using plate holder like in pic a) right? so I want to change like in pic b)..




How much do you think will it cost?
also, the rear plate attached to the car using glue or screw?

reporting a new bad experience with my blm:
engine shut down when on the road.. luckily it happened at a traffic light(when in idle)

weird thing is aircond,radio, is still on and the gear was in 'D'.. I press acclerator and it didnt move, then have start up the car again for a few times ..
had to turned on the distress signal at the moment.. luckily didnt panicked much..

I dont know whats wrong with the car.. its getting worse. before this got leaking and now engine auto shutdown..

anyone got clue on what cause this??

before this, my car also had starting engine problem..
