Usually insurance companies have their own panel workshops. I think in your case the workshop is one of your insurance company workshop panel. If u not satisfy with the service, try give the insurance company a call and tell them how bad the workshop service is.

The power window problem is due to the switch. Quite common problem for all saga owner.

ur from kuching.same as me.hmm..never heard.all i know, when the insurance company allocated u to a service centre, u cant change it already.but weird.lastime i involved in an accident.a kembara hit me.report police, filed case.and i choose my mechanic to repair.the mechanic is Aladdin service centre.they settle insurance cases.1 week settle my car.

I have not read the warranty terms, but I won't be surprise if they void the warranty after accident (talking about major accident, bumper scratch not included). You know la Malaysian people, if they know that it's cover, sure they abuse the warranty.

Say involve in accident, and damage the engine, air-con, side mirror etc.... for sure they repair the visible part, and the hidden one like air-con will claim for warranty. Ethically, that is just not right.

But bumper scratch, or accident that doesn't affect most of the car, the warranty should remain valid. As long as you don't report the accident, and didn't claim the insurance, the warranty should remain valid.

By the way, I'm considering Saga, (not yet an owner  ). But I need more points to convince myself.

Sound like a terrible accident. How it happen? Warranty should still be valid for the front part, and void for the back. But there is nothing delicate at the back right? Probably signal light, backlight, bornet switch, nothing that you can't repair yourself for few RM.

Probably better to send to proton, since it's under the insurance of the other party. Somemore the repair is recorded, so when you claim for warranty of other part later (hopefully you don't have to  ), it will be easier.

Still, better read the warranty terms first. Or wait for the expert advice 

okay, one final question...

The salesman told me to alternate the keys every 3 months. If leave more than 3 months without using that key, it cannot be used anymore.

Any truth to this?

guys... does the 2nd batch blm suffer this same iafm problem too? mine is a month old.. guess so far no prob yet. how does a faulty iafm sounds? any clip?

i think proton also take serious abt this issue for sure.

Cause if every new car he sell also need claim 1-3 time on warranty period mean every car there also need lose (700-900) "estimate cost" per iafm

if 10-30k saga been sell x average 1500 repair cost per car that abt 15m - 30m already which is large amount for them to cover during warranty period

it's just the iritating tapping sound only

we only change becuz we dn't like the tak tak sound only

light "tak tak" sound start appearing after surpassing 4k mileage~ sometimes its there, sometimes its not, but not as loud as in youtube video~

did anyone notice a high frequency sound when u idle your engine on? even when driving?
