hi all, I'm back again.
anyone in Kuching knows about the service in Magic Motor Sdn Bhd?

The insurance company has approved the insurance claim for my BLM which was involve in accident few months back. They give the repair tender to this Magic Motor Sdn Bhd workshop but until now still my car have not been repair yet. I have called them and ask when I can send my car for repair, but they say just wait.
Any chance that I can send the car to Eon for repair and still use the insurance?
I don't like waiting anymore... so long.

Usually insurance companies have their own panel workshops. I think in your case the workshop is one of your insurance company workshop panel. If u not satisfy with the service, try give the insurance company a call and tell them how bad the workshop service is.

The power window problem is due to the switch. Quite common problem for all saga owner.

Thanks.

mind to tell, what is different between M line and B line?
anything?
*
B-line doesn't have electric side mirror control and reverse sensor. Other than that, I'm not sure.

According to Proton I-care center, if a car involves in accident, the warranty for the hole car will void. Any one can confirm?

I think you mean whole car?  smile.gif

I have not read the warranty terms, but I won't be surprise if they void the warranty after accident (talking about major accident, bumper scratch not included). You know la Malaysian people, if they know that it's cover, sure they abuse the warranty.

Say involve in accident, and damage the engine, air-con, side mirror etc.... for sure they repair the visible part, and the hidden one like air-con will claim for warranty. Ethically, that is just not right.

But bumper scratch, or accident that doesn't affect most of the car, the warranty should remain valid. As long as you don't report the accident, and didn't claim the insurance, the warranty should remain valid. icon_rolleyes.gif

By the way, I'm considering Saga, (not yet an owner  laugh.gif ). But I need more points to convince myself.

Monthly installment = ((Car price - down payment) x interest x years of loan + (Car price - down payment)) / years of loan / 12
*
Yes, whole car. smile.gif My car just came back from workshop few days ago. The accident involves the bonet , bumper and back light. I claim the insurance from the person who knocked my car. Waiting for the repair is terrible until I tell the workshop that if they refuse to repair, I will send to proton and ask them to claim from the insurance because its 4 months+ the car not been repair after the accident.

Sound like a terrible accident. How it happen? Warranty should still be valid for the front part, and void for the back. But there is nothing delicate at the back right? Probably signal light, backlight, bornet switch, nothing that you can't repair yourself for few RM.

Probably better to send to proton, since it's under the insurance of the other party. Somemore the repair is recorded, so when you claim for warranty of other part later (hopefully you don't have to  sweat.gif ), it will be easier.

Still, better read the warranty terms first. Or wait for the expert advice  nod.gif

Well, it happened on the 3rd day of CNY. sweat.gif When we stop at red light, a MyVi coming very fast from the back suddently unable to break and knocked or back of our car. Both the MyVi driver and I stop there for half hour trying to settled and I also convince him to pay me so we no need to go and make police report. He say just go and make police report because he want to use Insurance.

The insurance was approved after few days but I waited for few months for the repair.

how true is this? My car spare key has not been use since I got it. I just use 1 key until now. Anyone can clarify?
My SA also did not tell me about this.

QUOTE(JungleKing @ May 23 2009, 04:50 PM)
okay, one final question...

The salesman told me to alternate the keys every 3 months. If leave more than 3 months without using that key, it cannot be used anymore.

Any truth to this?

i think proton also take serious abt this issue for sure.

Cause if every new car he sell also need claim 1-3 time on warranty period mean every car there also need lose (700-900) "estimate cost" per iafm

if 10-30k saga been sell x average 1500 repair cost per car that abt 15m - 30m already which is large amount for them to cover during warranty period
I don't think any car manufacturer want to lose that amount of money gua ==

There should able to fix around 2nd - 4th bath
*
Hmmm, After warranty, maybe can sell off the car. If need to change IAFM few times after warranty, not worth the money.
Maybe Proton should fix everything and recall all Saga owners to change the IAFM.

if it's not working already...u won't hear the "aeroplane" sound already
if have...mean it's working
we only change becuz we dn't like the tak tak sound only
*
Yes, but driving a car with those tak tak sound is irritating.
