QUOTE(nabelon @ Apr 30 2009, 05:12 PM)
guys, I am going to take delivery of my car this saturday.

I am fukin pissed with my SA because Im getting the car which is in the showroom being displayed for 3 f***ing weeks.

He's offering me a rm300 discount. I called up I-care and they told me normal la new stock keep in showroom.

My mileage is 28km. What do you guys think ? Tekan some more ? The car is in good shape though, no scratch as far as I know.
*
haha....drive from factory to the SC also need few KM mah
if you're at east malaysia...even further....factory to harbour, harbour to SC.....
normal
as long as they have done service for u before they give it to u...it's ok

QUOTE(nabelon @ Apr 30 2009, 05:58 PM)
What I expect ? Well, I asked him personally not to give me a car which is in the showroom, I told him that if my choice of color is going to land me a car in the showroom then you could give me other colors as long as its not in the showroom.

Im not looking for 0km car, but I've seen lot of cars with 10-14 km, so mine is double, thats why I am asking you guys.

P/s : I'm not expecting much, but at least honor my request. But nvm since you guys say that it's normal, I look forward to enjoying my car biggrin.gif
*
it's normal....it depends on the distance between the factory and the SC..
if it's further..thn more KM mah
28KM is very less....which also mean it's never been test drived before...so dn't worry

i read other car forum , just need to pull out the negative cable from the battery..for 30 minutes like that then plug it back...some say need to discharge the remaining power from the car..like pressing the brake..

just to reconfirm about saga...if hard to reset then its ok

i thought wanna to make the ecu relearn.
*
if i'm not wrong....the ECU relearn everytime u close and starts the engine
because it turns off the ECU after u turn off the ignition
it's the setting inside the ECU that remains unchange....this is what need to be reset

need u guys' favor...
can u guys check the rear wheels whether they are balanced left n right, or one side of the wheel protuding more outwards than the other side...

my rear left wheel is more outward than the right...this is why it hit the fender on the left side only when i fetch 3 ppl at the back...haih...Proton infinite of flaws...

just need a rough estimation...

Added on May 2, 2009, 8:07 pmbtw, can claim warranty for that? but i have changed rims...
*
u mean the left side is higher than the right?
thn it's the spring problem.....1 is longer than the other....manufacture defect, not proton's fault
got member mention this before...just go to SC and tell them it's unbalance....i think they will change the spring for u

QUOTE(smokey @ May 3 2009, 11:21 AM)
how to prevent tire from makan 1 side? use thinner tire? use sport spring? now temporary solution is put a thicker rubber at the rear spring...

since the top part of rear left tire is more outward than the rear right tire, means it has +1.8 camber while the rear right has -1.8 camber?
*
the 1st batch is confirm makan 1 side
becuz the drum brake is savvy's one
start from 2nd brake uses different rear brake...more suitable and cheaper..if not wrong, start from 2nd batch..no more makan 1 side problem
