im thinking to create this topic this morning, but feel so lazy to copy paste the screenshot, the rates, etc lol.. so just let other user make it haha..

by the way, maxis is truly desperate now.. finally they have no choice but to sacrifice some portion of their huge profit. and we as the consumer dont care about wether they desperate or not, as long as we can get cheaper rates..

so, do u think digi will respon back by introducing the much more lower rates (such as 4sen/sms inter operator?).. this is crazy man, i dont know what to say haha..

but the target user for youth club is small.. its only targeted to selected university student (student card is required to register), and its valid for 4 years only (am i rite?), while celcom uox/sox is targeted to 13 to 25 years old teenager.. anyone below 26 can register (only mykad is required)..

pity to those who didnot have a chance to study in university, who just stop studying after spm, or just continue studying at small collegue, etc..

haiz too bad i just switch to digi

this is nature law.. sometime we at the top, sometime at the bottom.. if you want to be at top only, u can swicth back lol..

note: im sure digi will revise their campus plan. because currently digi campus plan is not attractive anymore compare with celcom uox and hotlink youth club. if the blue and red duck already leave the yellow duck behind, do u think the yellow duck will simply ignore it? it will swim faster soon, trust me haha..

just wait..soon celcom will lower their rate too ..im using both celcom and maxis
*
i dont think so, UOX is already cheap.. if they want to lower their rate, they have to go below 5sen/sms for off-net sms which is impossible. 6sen/sms is almost 0sen profit, and maxis offer 5sen mean they help user to pay (subsidised) 0.xx sen to the receipient operator for every off-net (inter-operator) sms, and they can do so because the gain huge profit from high volume of the on-net sms..

compare to celcom/digi which has lower volume of on-net sms because their customer is not much as maxis.

and also if Celcom just reduce the price by 1 sen, is not practical and wont giving much benefit for them as well as to the user too.. they also need to re-print all the browser, the starterpack, re-advertising, etc..

but for other charge such as on-net call it still can be revise.. maybe celcom can offer 10sen call to all celcom number, and 5sen call with 8pax.

let me get it clear..
so the only downside about this plan is the 60 seconds block, right?
*
the only downside as follows

- only open to student from selected university (celcom uox/sox open to all below 26, no matter if you're only finished studying primary school only hehe)

- only can enjoy this rates for 4 years (celcom uox/sox can enjoy as long as you're still below 26 years old

- no free call/sms (digi dcampus offer free after hit certain usage everyday)

- no special data plan (digi dcampus offer unlimited data at rm30 per month, while celcom uox/sox offer weekly unlimited rm20 and daily unlimited rm6)

- bad network service quality (too subjective to be discussed, but i heard a lot of complains recently)

- careline is not free (celcom and digi offer free careline)

- no special plan if upgrade to postpaid after this (digi dcampus offer special graduate postpaid plan)

but, whatever the downside is, the cheap call and sms rates still will be the main attractive point for Hotlink Youth Club hehe.. sweat.gif

From the chart is shows you still need to top up a minimum of RM 10/year to enjoy the validity. smile.gif
*
rm10/year is okay.. but if you reload less than rm10 per year hmm.gif .. erm maybe you should not use handphone at all.. sweat.gif

my guess, if the validity 4 years mean you can enjoy it for 4 years.. furthermore, normally 4 years is required to completed any degree course in the university..

hey, suddently hotlink gain majority support back haha.. it so easy to gain support, just give some goodies to the people..

note: i still loyal to my UOX.

I'd prefer free airtime instead of stupid t-shirt, cap or bag that I won't even bother to use at all.
*
really? i prefer tshirt, cap, or bag since its exlusive and i cannot buy anywhere, so i feel it is much more special.. tongue.gif i also might not using it, but keep it as my collection..

instead of free airtime that i can buy anywhere, and simply finished it up in couple of days lol..

unless they're giving airtime value of rm100 or rm200 and above then can be cosidered (although i actually still prefer exclusive merchandise)
